John, I have been embroidery for over 10 years and I still learn new tips from you. Your wealth of knowledge is amazing and I do appreciate all your tutorials. Thanks so much.
OMG, I am floored. I never in a million years thought that I could make lace with my embrodiery machine. I've been viewing a lot of lace embellishment crafts lately that I've been wanting to try it out; however, I knew that lace was quite expensive. I'm so glad that I stumbled across your video, thanks for sharing and making the steps so simple.
I am a bridal seamstress and just started making lace for veils. I am also trying to embroider on tulle. I've noticed I need to use the "stabilizer sandwich"... stabilizer, tulle, and then a topper. Can you kindly do a video on embroidering on tulle?
Very interesting....Wanting to purchase a couple of the FSL Neckline designs.... After creating the complete stitchout and removing the water soluable stabilizer, and it is dry and pressed, what is the best way to attach this design to a garment? Hand sewing? Fabric glue? New at FSL.... Thanks in advance
Hi John , like your lace making i am an armature would like to learn embroidery ! Your wealth of knowledge is very helpful _thanks for your effort ! Much appreciated !
So when using a multi needle machine I am unable to wind and use my own bobbins to match the top thread as it calls for pre wound bobbins. So this won’t work for example for lace snowflake ornaments with metallic thread accents. So how can I get around that if you have any suggestions?
Hi Denise, running a machine at high speeds can affect tension/pull compensation on regular designs as well. The faster it runs the more tension it draws, commercially I would often slow the machine speed down when running small lettering on golf shirts. The lettering would then appear a bit bolder. Hope this helps :)
TH-cam has a button where it where transcribe captions for any video. Tap the three vertical dots over the video screen and click captions. They’re not always accurate if the speech in the video isn’t clear, but it works well a lot of the time.

Personally I would tack it down by hand or machine, glue may not hold up with washing and affect the softness of the lace. My pleasure :)

Could shiw how to embroider on tulle? Thanks
You commented that you slow the machine down for tension reasons, could high speed stitching also cause tension issues for regular embroidery?
