    Chuck left us too early, man, but despite that he changed the music of his time and left a legacy of mindblowing music. Great interview!

      @@DeathinHD man, I have to say.
      Even after all these years later I still have wet cheeks ANY time I watch Chuck in anything.
      I didn't know him, but I knew his music. It raised me.
      The tapping bit in leprosy is the reason I play guitar.
      RIP Chuck Schuldiner, Godfather of Death Metal

    I love this. Chuck inspired me to pick up guitar (which i'm terrible at) and I consider him one of if not the highest of my idols. I really wish i could have met and been his friend.

    What a guy, sorely missed in this generation. He did inspire a lot of amazing bands with his amazing music. Every time I wear my Death - Human t shirt, I wear it in honour of the man himself.

    Chucks beautiful actions have always taught me to be a loving individual. I first watched this interview in my last year of high school when my life was shit and I hated everything. Now, I'm doing great and love my first and only nephew like a son. The man has taught me a lot to keep family first. Miss you Chuck. Even if I've never met you.

    Thank you for the interview. Thank you Chris for sharing with us such private moments regarding your uncle. We really appreciate that. Even from the distance...even from 20 years that Chuck is unfortunatly gone...I stil hear the voice of his soul...I still remember him as the part of me growing when I was young...I still in my most private thoughts give such a credit to the music, lirycs and innovating Death sound and wonderfull human being that Chuck was...I still hear the voice of his soul...deep in myself I am aware that Chuck is still here...because his music is a part of me, his music is also voice of my soul in all the positive way that it can be...Chuck was from another time, he was timeless...because he did it all from his heart and that is because he remains in our hearts too

    Most people talk about how “we” (the metal fans) lost Chuck, but they never stop to think about the people who were truly devastated by his death, his family.

    I really appreciate this interview happened. And I’m one of the fans out there waiting for more in terms of historic and family interviews, photos, merch to go toward family and research and knowledge on medical health research, symptoms, medication and awareness. I too have to battle everyday on ancient first line treatments and can’t even contribute anything remotely close to what Chuck did and that’s what makes his notes, writings and work so important. Thanks, from Melbourne Australia

    WOW. Damn man, this was heavy. Chuck really taught me a lot through the music he wrote in Death. I used to sleep with my headphones on and The Sound of Perseverance playing. He was my hero. It's too bad, and makes me really sad that a legendary metal icon couldn't get more support from the system. Love you, bro, Chuck man, we are still thinking of you man. I pursued m

    I remember watching an interview with either Richard or Eric where they said Chuck had a small car and some lizard crawled into his ac and died in it and he could never get the smell out. Finally found the story behind it, thank you for posting this!

    I have a question!
    Where or how did Chuck get learn about the universe, reality and the human brain that he damn near figured out the universe? because he reminds me ALOT of the Philosopher Alan Watts!
    CHUCK's songwriting and his knowledge of the the universe and the mind helped me open my eyes to what we call reality and the universe and perception! THANK YOU-R.I.P. Chuck!

    • @DeathinHD
      @DeathinHD  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      KC could you be more specific, how has he taught you? Through his words on screen or through his lyrics etc?

    • @kcleach9312
      @kcleach9312 8 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      let me start by saying all tho death has been my favorite band since i first heard them back in 1993 and death is still my favorite band to this day!! but up until 3 years ago when i started learning about psychology and the brain and diving as deep as i can go down the rabbit hole learning about quantum physics and the universe all by learning on my own by the top scientist and profesores and all related topics! for 13 years of rockin death knowing every beat, lyric, every guitar sound, but 3 years ago i began hearing and understanding his lyrics and guitar notes and i swear it's like i was a reborn death fan because it was like i was HEARING death for the first time! there are several ways he has opened my brain and helped shape me into the person i am today! a big way is of course the lyrics on every song on every one of Death's albums!! ok i guess i was curious if he learned on his own? was he into science and outer space/mind thoughts! because a few things chuck was singing about scientist are withn the last few years beginning to talk about as facts, but 25 years ago people would laugh in your face for mentioning it!

      omgyouareugly really???? have you never heard"individual thought patterns" or "Human" or "Symbolic"???? dude he's saying we are the universe!!! perception is 99% of the ILLUSION called REALITY!!! COME ON MAN!!!

      omgyouareugly try telling that to the millions of people who live their lives by the bible, i mean "book of nonsense"!! common sense is a thing of the past anymore!! are you just looking to argue or something? lets just call it a draw and both scream out a HAIL CHUCK!!!
