Liking the new set up. The single wide shot was always too little for more than 2 people so 2 close ups is nice. The only thing that could maybe improve the setup would be to have a wide shot as a 3rd angle that could be a cutaway every so often (Since some people are having a hard time spatially orienting themselves).
I like the camera setup and being able to see everyone's faces better. Just need a light for Mike's and Wendy's side of the table...which I know is hard to do without causing more weird lighting and shadows for the normal side of the table.
I think Wendy should only have scored 13 for religion. 2x4(gold) and 5x1(player pieces). Didn’t change the outcome though.
I also don't care either way, but this game looks pretty cool and I'm excited for my copy to arrive.
It seems this setup is specific to this game, it requires you to be near your area of the board.
I enjoyed watching you guys play - a demonstration of exactly what makes playing boardgames enjoyable. However, this game itself doesn’t look particularly appealing - I look forward to seeing an actual review.
Will we see a review of this?
I have entered the contest... way to late... I thought I was watching recent videos, but the watch-later list was switched to 'oldest' instead of 'newest'.
How many stupid contest entries does the dicetower get? At least one... At least one...
Only thing I’ll say is that the different areas you can score in this game don’t have alot of intersection with each other. They are all very separate to each other.
I've played the game, and it is kind of important that they are. That way you need to pivot strats based on who's board is gonna come to you
I like the camera setup, but the lighting will need adjusting for the second camera. Also, a moveable back wall (anything large enough to fill the camera) would be good so we're not seeing all the mess behind.
The game looks boring though
I wanted to like this game. But the map does not have the shape of the actual Roman Empire. So sad :(
After watching the playthrough, I'm happy that I didn't back this game. It looks mega boring.
Two comments, one saying they hate this setup, one saying they like it. I don't care either way, but this game looks kinda weird and boring.
