I've done this pinterest thing so many times and I feel like it just gets me nowhere. I end up even more confused than before. Idk if I just like too many things or if I'm too indecisive
We all go through this. My tip would be : well, maybe just... start. Trust yourself, pick one picture that makes you excited (even if you're not sure it is the one you're the MOST excited about). The hardest part is just to start. The fear of failure and disappointment too often prevents us to simply start. The best way it to block some time for choosing your topic, for selecting references, working on the composition and the artwork itself. Set a time to work on it but maybe not a hard deadline to complete it as it may be too much pressure to handle. Go with the flow. Accept mistakes. It will very probably not become the best artwork of the world (for what that means) nor even your own best artwork, but anyway, it helps you define further what you want to do artistically. Set your easel, your paint and your brushes ready on the day before when you plan to paint. Make everything possible to make it easier to just start. Focus on the process and how it makes you happy. The rest will follow. Not always... but sometimes is enough.
you have a talent for connecting to others; understand that that is an art on its own
Thank you ❤ I knew that but yet I needed to hear it again 👌
