I use this video as a brain exercise, like a massage. I think of nothing. Do it once or twice aday for 10 minutes. From the beginning I felt a growing selfconfidence, and so much more energy. I also like the sound of the bell, it keeps you concentrated. Practising EMDR in this privat way to me has been lifechanging. Never give up, I would say ❤😊
Thank you, I have complex PTSD and have been having night terrors. I have appointments lined up with an EMDR therapist, but we won't actually start sessions for another two weeks. I tried this vides and just felt calmer watching the ball bounce back and forth, like a meditation. (I'm too hypervigilant to meditate.) Like I got to a point where I felt something shift into a quieter state. I will use these videos for a calming practice while I wait for my EMDR to officially start to help calm my brain (and body).
I am so glad you were able to experience some relief. It's great that you have the opportunity to work with an EMDR therapist too! Good luck as you get started. I'd love to hear what you think about it. ❤️
You are almost alone with EMDR 60FPS video for self treatment, please can you make quicker movement around 98 bmp with soft clink on black background :-). When I switch the speed video its not smooth, so please 🙏do it for us :-)
You are so welcome! I know there are so many different options for sounds, colors, speed, etc. I will be posting new ones anyway so keep sharing feedback on what would make the videos closer to you taste if you'd like. I want to make what people want! ☺️
Hi there! Great question. It can be used for CPTSD. If your symptoms include severe dissociation though, I would recommend working with a therapist trained in that. That can make the processing more challenging. A therapist can help you stay grounded and in the present. Still, you may benefit from doing some emotional resource development. This could be done by thinking of positive experiences while moving your eyes left and right and see if you can let any positive sensation in your body spread and get bigger and bigger. Sometimes I like to notice a really positive experience and pair it with a positive belief like "I am capable." "I can do hard things." "I am going to be okay." "I deserve to be happy." or whatever positive affirmation about yourself may be helpful and pair that with positive memories or a positive image of you in the future accomplishing something important to you. Increasing emotional resources is something most people can do on their own or with a therapist. Good luck. Let me know if you have more questions or get stuck.
