Our mushrooms are dwindling too. Jeff was gone when we ate those King Bolotes. I'd like to find one more so he can try it. Bought a new carb for my saw, but haven't put it on yet....need to do that maybe today. A tree that big, I bring the splitting maul and split it before loading it.....don't want to prolapse! Ha!

That 14 day rule seems to be relaxed during hunting season I've noticed. I think it's more to keep folks from just living in the woods permantly? Around here, they don't seem to enforce it unless there's a problem.

My old truck is standard 6speed. I get in my daughters truck and my left leg and right hand start feeling unwanted. Don't hurt yourself with logs like that. No man I know could heeve logs like that around.

I drive a 2012 Ram 2500 diesel with a 6 speed manual trans. The G56 trans is a great trans and most people can’t drive it. You cant find a truck today on any new car lot with a manual trans. They don’t make them like they did. I am not sure you can even order one from the factory anymore. That is Ram doesn’t make them anymore Chevy and Ford may still do it.

You definitely have the right idea with that truck! I used to have a car with power everything. Fine until it all started to break down, a car with no a/c and a window you can’t roll down. 🥵5600 lb car on a long crooked road 100 miles from home and the power steering goes! Learned my lesson! Watch those heavy ones! Don’t overdo it! We don’t want our favorite Hillbilly in traction!

I'm with you, Hillbilly. I like the basic model of vehicles without all the "bells and whistles." The more fancy gizmos on your vehicle, the more there is to go wrong with it. I also prefer a standard transmission. I think it's more fun to drive something with stick shift! I've got a 2009 Toyota Corolla with a five speed transmission, roll up windows (by hand), and very little electronic stuff. Since we live in Florida, a.c. is a must-have. Enjoy your truck dude, you've got something there!

My first car was an AMC Pacer wagon, 4 on the floor. Got a chainsaw. Cut those logs smaller and you might not give yourself a hernia.I know what the problem is. Ain't no gas in it.

Oooweee! That's some heavy welfare wood! I just unloaded seventeen 16"x16 paver stones and this 70 yr old gal is beat. I tried not to put much weight on the knee I just had replaced cuz I don't want to screw that up.
Then I came in to rest and turn yalls video on and y'all are trying to kill yourself too. We don't let work scare us for sure. Ha!

If you're using the logs for firewood, why don't you buck them up into 16" long rounds then load up? Sure would save your back. When I'm out firewood cutting, I always buck them right there on the spot then load up. No way am I loading logs, LOL.
Because of where I was at and tons of hunters I just wanted to get gone...And a hell of a lot bigger then I like
