Just picked up my new satin steel metallic trail boss LT. I love this truck. Check it out.

Love the color, I would have taken the 6.2L, I liked the ram rebel, wished the interior of the Ram was in the Trail Boss. You made a good choice that’s an awesome looking truck!

It's true with the Ford F-150's. Just by Looking at the side of the truck I couldn't tell if it's 2012 or 2020. Ford really needs to change the whole body frame.

Good choice ! Best looking one over the ram and F 150 IMO. Like the aggressive front end. The raptor is nice too but it costs 20k more and not a v8

I’m loving the look on this truck. I have noticed they have gotten a bit more expensive over last year...must be all the COVID setbacks and parts, staff, factory shortages I guess. Who knows. I plan on getting this truck for next years refresh model.
My truck's a couple years old and I still like it. No complaints 👍. You're right though, the prices have skyrocketed. I hope they drop before I buy my next one lol.

I have this exact same truck!
I also had a 2014 F150 FX4 5.0L before. Was a decent truck. But needed a transfer case @ 20km timing chains and phasers @80km ..IWEs failed at 60km. It towed my 28 foot 7600lbs trailer ok. But my new trail boss tows it much better. Even with the lower trail boss rear end of 3.21 vs 3.73 on the Ford. The 2 extra gears in the transmission made a huge difference towing.
That's cool. I actually had a 2012 F150 FX4 5.0 before the 16 EcoBoost. I got lucky with that one had no mechanical problems, it did have a water leak where the satellite radio antenna mounted though.
I have a 2015 Ram and I'm in the Ram dealer for service and the salesman approaches me to see if I want to get myself into a 2019 Ram. I told him I'm not intrested in the Rams because of what they did to the styling of the new body. In fact I told him that I'm selling my Ram and looking the new 2020 Trail Boss because I said that is one good looking truck. His expression was priceless. This was my 5th Ram truck from the same dealer. I think Chevy did a great job on the new truck. For years I thought they where ugly.
I like the interior of the Ram. Wish I could put it in the Trail Boss lol. I get a lot of compliments on the look of the TB. I had a kid ask if he could take a pic with it the other day like it's a Lambo or something lol 😂.

Nice looking truck, my only concern is with you pulling trailers as much as you do, I would've up graded to a 3/4 ton simply for the braking and stability of it. But that's how I was raised, which was to go one size larger than what you could go with. It's like I haul my tractor and hay every once in awhile and a 3/4 ton or a single tires one ton would work but for the stability and larger brakes I went with a dually
I actually considered an F250 because we we're thinking about buying a fifth wheel toy hauler. My other 16 Silverado double cab towed the trailers we have now no problem though. If we ever go bigger with our camper I'll need to upgrade to a 3/4 ton for sure. I still haven't towed with the new truck yet. We'll see 🤞.

Silverado will be way more reliable than the Ram or F-150. Just keep the oil changed every 3,000 miles.
Don't they use synthetic oil? 3,000 miles is way early, even with conventional these days.

Fords are a nightmare to wrench on.With these new Chevys you can easily do your oil and then some.I had a ecoboost till 1 of the turbos took a dump on me at 36k. miles.Switched to a GMC sierra AT4 with the 6.2L now have 40K on it and have had 0 issues and it sounds way better.

I read somewhere that the 2021 TrailBoss will get a fresh interior, much like the Ram Rebel or even better.
So I guess I’ll wait for one more year at least otherwise I’ll reconsider if it becomes alot more pricey than the current one.

My 07 gmc Sierra classic work truck has Dull climate control. Its nothing special. It's all marketing.and I'm putting trail boss rims on it. It's a 2wd which makes it even funnier.
