Hello Sir, I love your video, so may I have some questions about the screen configurations. I am using Window, and I follow all of your screen configurations. I also connected the projector and computer, but after I have done all screen configuration, and I started to make the show, but it never shows up anything on the projector. Can you help me with this problem, please?
One idea I have is to make sure the outputs are turned on. Above the output monitor to the right of the Pro7 interface, there are 2 dot circles. (Audience, and Stage) Those toggle Red and Green. Make sure they are green, which means the output is active. -Nathan
Any Idea how to make the screen configuration persistent?? Anytime we reboot the Mac or have a power outage we lose the screen configuration and have to set it back up. Not a problem for me but for some of our less tech savvy volunteers it really throws them for a loop.
That shouldn't be happening. Pro7 usually keeps the screen config data persistent unless there is a hardware change. Pro6 was terrible about that has been one of the biggest improvements with Pro7 and it has been Solid. I suggest reaching out to support, sounds like an issue with your specific use case. -Nathan
It has to be done per presentation item. In the editor, without a text box or shape selected on a slide, in the presentation tab in the top right, under size: you can pick an actively setup screen size, or common size, or use a custom size. -Nathan
I'm trying to add themes to lyric slides at my church. They show up on ProPresenter, but not through the projector. You mentioned VGA may not work. I believe the projector is a VGA co0nnection. Is this the issue and can it be resolved with an HDMI/VGA adaptor?
VGA issues could make it harder to connect to the screen but shouldn't impact ProPresetner's ability to perform tasks. Make sure there is no "Looks" setup to filter everything through a Theme. Are you saying that the slides do show up onto the Output Monitor in Pro7 but not Audience Screen? Email me some photos; I'm sure we can get this solved. -Nathan R.
Do you know if there is a way to show a Scripture on half of the screen and still show the pastor on the other half, like a vertical split screen? All of the scripture slides are created in photoshop and then dropped in to our drop box and then we just import the slide but they are always full screen slides. So currently, our live stream audience see the full screen slide and then we transition to the camera view, we'd like to change that with a vertical split screen.
The tough part of vertical slides is that you have to keep the camera framed correctly to fill the left of center area. Why don’t you build your slides in Pro7? You can still design the background the slides sit on in Photoshop, then add the text in Pro7. That way you can design your main screen slides to be full screen, and for the stream output of Pro7 in the “Looks” you can use a “theme” on the stream output that is left of center, or a lower Third. Pro7 has settings to fade slides to the next slide. Be sure the song is set to Cut for an instant jump. Bottom left of Song Window.

How do I undo if I accidentally select the Imac for the stage screen?
You need to open “Configure Screens” and re-select the proper “Output” for the stage display.
