I never was good at stealing and all the craziness that joey went through. But I remember those mornings alone at home with all the depression from the night before and hopelessness of realizing you're still at square 1. Good I'm glad I never feel that way anymore.
@Be REAL yes, if for no other reason than the substances pick you up, and then your brain and body rebound in a depressive way until the drug is gone and the body has readjusted. If it's daily use, multiply that to a proportionate degree. If you're an addict, even if you think your making life progress, you're really not accomplishing anything. You're actually standing still in life but don't realize it until too much time has passed to be hopeful. Gotta force the hope at that point to actually progress. In my experience

I was hooked on painkillers too, anything with hydrocodone in it and I'd take it. An if I couldn't find any hydrocodone, I'd take suboxone or methadone. Anything that would give me a buzz, and keep me from getting sick. I took them everyday for almost 13 years, and it got to where I would take 10 in a days time like it was nothing. I decided to get clean when my mom passed away, she asked me for years to get clean and I never would even try or think about it. It was the hardest thing I ever did cause I came off them cold Turkey with no rehab, no suboxone or methadone. I was so sick I thought I was going to die a few times, and I'd still go to work everyday to make sure I had money to take care of my dad. I've been clean for almost 1 year now, and it's the best decision I ever made. It's hard to get clean, and even harder to stay clean. It's a constant struggle, but if u stay strong and constantly tell yourself that you're better than that and you're gonna do better then u can do it. U just gotta stay strong bro, and keep ur head up.

Anyways, does anyone else get anxiety when they reminisce on the times you did a ton of blow and the crazy nights and situations you put yourself in? I get super heavy anxiety if I ponder on the stuff I did on blow and the amount I took. I get genuine anxiety.
I use to feel that melancholy feeling until I studied the whelming sexual desire you get while high. In other words, cocaine is for the Sexually Perverted in mind! And that helped me not F with that junk anymore.

@@lancehumphries1153 I agree. I did so much blow that it just wasn't fun anymore and the come down was just terrible. I walked away from blow no problem 12 years ago and never touched it again. I had done so much in a years time it just lost it's attraction. I do think about it sometimes and think how nice it would be to have a bag of some pure blow, but that's it. I never seek it out. Got kids and a family. No time for that stuff these days.

Hope you are ok mate and looking after yourself. I been there with crack and heroin for 12 years. There's a lot of ways to help you through it, the 'Thomas Recipe' is mainly for opiates but it will work well for coke too for example.
Ask for help. It's hard to do on your own. You will find strength you didn't know you had. Keep the faith in yourself brother.

The main thing it does it essentially give your brain loads of ingredients, as in certain amino acids and all, to make the stuff like dopamine and all.. To relieve the darkness and all. I've been through it and I swear by it. Not sure about American prices but maybe 50-70 dollars and it will make a difference. There's a few tips I can give you for resting and anxiety and all that, you might not know. I want to help you. No ulterior motive or any messing around. You are in a bad place and I want to help. Because we all deserve it. And we all are human and doesn't matter our age or accent or heritage or politics or religion or what we prefer, Big Macs or Whoppers... Life is hard.
