- In this video, I'll walk you through a simple method to upgrade to the latest version of Windows 11, whether you have supported or unsupported hardware. Best of all, you won't need a USB or external drive for this process.

Thanks so much for sharing this, you just saved my workstation from being obsolete in October.
You're welcome! I'm so glad to hear that it helped! 😊 If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
Great and clear tutorial, thanks👍 Some questions: (1) from Windows 10 Pro, does it go automatically to Windows 11 Pro or does it go to Windows 11 Home? (2) once installed, do you have an automatic update of your Windows 11 ; (3) do you need a new license to run and get updates of the Windows 11 so installed ? 👀
It should update to the current version you have, for example if you have Pro it should upgrade to Pro.. Yes everything is official it should update fine.
@@TechWise2022 Thank you !
hi there.
how can i install win11 updates on my NOT supported pc?
i installed win11 by rufus. i'm satisfied with win11 but windows update cannot install updates on a not supported pc.
can you help me?
thanks.
its says on the microsoft website that any windows 11 copy downloaded on an unsupported machine will not support updates. there are some methods but it those may not work
F A N T A S T I C ! ! ! Just what I needed thank you. You are brilliant.
Thanks ! Glad you found it helpful!
how about a clean installation?
I followed the directions down to the t, but it error at the end, saying wasn't able to update the recovery partition
Woww just wow
didn't work for me :( still got 'This PC doesn't currently meet Windows 11 system requirements'
A tech expert is needed to solve my update issue. I installed Windows 11 on an unsupported PC and joined the Windows Insider Program (Dev Channel) to get new updates and features, but I can't update it. It shows that TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are not available on my PC. I've tried multiple times to bypass this but failed each time. I changed the registry settings and ran various commands, but nothing worked. Can someone please help me update my Insider build version to 24H2
It seems today it does not work. When I try to install Win 11 from the VHD On the screen Of "Making sure you'r ready to install" Please wait .It just kept me waiting and it does not install. Whats wrong??
Nice! But, how about updates from Windows update?
So far it hasn’t been an issue. However with 24H2 around the corner that could all change.
Thanks dude. this does not role back right ??
You're welcome! That's correct-this change won't roll back
Thanks broo you are the best
Glad you found it helpful! Thanks
What if BitLocker + TPM is already running on Win10 before the upgrade?
it shouldn't matter.
@@TechWise2022 I just did the upgrade. It suspends the existing BL for the first reboots. But after completion it removes the GPO to permit a boot PIN. I had to manually reenable the GPO to allow it.
First to view and first to comment. Thanks.
Thank you for being the first to view and comment! Your support means a lot!
Hi, then wonder if you can help. I managed to use your method so I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 on an unsupport machine process was really easy. I got the iso for Windows 11 directly from Windows. Everything was fine. I managed to go to updates when Windows 11 was installed and I managed to do all of it. If I look in there it says Windows 11 home active. I managed to get a licence key for Windows 11 Pro but when I'm trying to upgrade it
I can't update your version of Windows try update in your version of Windows again (0x80010105) but then if I look at the copy of Windows 11 on there it's Windows 11 home and it says activated but I didn't have to enter a licence key. Is there a generic one that I have to add first so it activates it ?. But on the startup it says update to Windows 11 but Windows 11 is already on there. Any help thanks or is it because it's an unsupported machine? It will not let me update from 11 Windows home to 11 Pro because I don't meet the minimum requirements. If that is so is there a workaround so I can update to Windows 11 Pro or do I have to stay over 11 home? Thank you
The error you’re encountering (0x80010105) might be due to the system’s unsupported status, but there’s a workaround you can try.
Generic Product Key: First, you can try entering the generic product key for Windows 11 Pro. This key won't activate Windows but will initiate the upgrade from Home to Pro. The generic key is VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T. After upgrading, you can then enter your Windows 11 Pro license key to activate it.
Command Prompt Method: You can also try upgrading via the Command Prompt. Open it as an administrator and enter the following command:
slmgr.vbs /ipk
Replace with the license key you have. This should force the system to upgrade to Pro.
NO!
You may be able to INSTALL it, but you will NOT be able to UPDATE IT!!!
(Windows Updates will tell you that your CPU is NOT supported and quit!).
There should be a bypass for that.
I have not found that to be the case. I can update without issue however that might change with the next update 24H2
No, I have had it installed on a Surface Pro 3 for over six months now without _any_ problems.
i have ben running unsupported windows 11 and have had no issue with updates so far
@@pigpen1958 is it still the same?
Simple method.....use Linux
No.
