52:00 Oh James.....that comment was disappointing.....'Ariel's a white character'? Ariels a CARTOON she can be any colour they decide, she could be Indian. She doesn't HAVE to be white, she can be any colour, she's a cartoon.... Also, 'a Black movie'? Ew....ew James. Yuck. Why do Black people have to have Black movies? Why can't we have movies with people of different races etc? Not a Black movie, or a white movie or an Asian movie, or Latina or mixed etc? Also, its ridiculous to compare Mowgli or Aladin because the film is actually IN their countries. Mowgli is in India Aladin is in the Middle East and obviously they are going to be the ethnicity of the people in that country. Ariel is presumsed to be in America, one of the most diverse countries, so they can make her any race.
James gets it wrong a lot where race is concerned. I'm worried about them doing live shows in the U.S coz of some of the ish he says. He's said some pretty wild things especially when they first started out in reference to history, particularly slavery. Not as bad as he used to be lol. I'm sure Fuhad had a word with him
Halle Bailey got the Ariel roll because of her talent. When the director heard her audition, singing the song, he knew that she was going to get the role. I don’t think they “forced this diversity”, she just happened to charm them with her beautiful voice and be black. The Little Mermaid is a fictional character so it doesn’t matter what skin color she is because it’s all fake anyways.

One day on the way to church my little brother (7years old) said to my mother “Mommy let us take the short cut to church”. My mom asked “what shortcut?” And he told her “the shortcut down that yard which daddy takes me all the time to see the woman name sherene”….😂😂 That’s the day my mom found out that her husband was cheating for months with shortcut lady “sherene” 🤣
I wish ya had the same energy for Halle like ya did for Indiyah from a couple of episodes ago. At the end of the day, children should have the chance to see themselves in princesses and princes and other fairytale characters. All of these diversity decisions being made and matters of inclusion should be NORMALIZED. Because there are women who kiss women every day, it’s normal, and it’s a way of teaching children that it’s a way of life just like when men and women kiss. But definitely love you guys, a Patreon listener here
Little late, but I agree!! Their take on how Disney is being inclusive and Halle as Ariel was disappointing. People of color/diff backgrounds, and sexuality/gender, etc have ALWAYS existed. It's just now more safer for them to be themselves, and to be represented in modern day media is amazing. 1) Ariel is a mermaid. She could literally have any background/skin color. 2) If 2 women cannot kiss in a romantic context in media, than why have we always used heterosexual romance/kissing in media? Isn't that, like they said, "forcing it" too? At the end of the day, representation matters.
I love you guys, but I feel like y’all really missed the point regarding the little mermaid. They didn’t cast her because she’s black. They cast her because of her voice. 🙄 I do agree we need new stand alone movies as well
11:02 I really appreciate how these absolute MEN not only didn’t try to justify the boys actions- but they didn’t even HINT at it being the woman’s fault. No “what if she’s lying”, “these guys are famous so these girls are chasing bags”, “they should know what happens when you go after these famous people”. The only thing that even got close to the idea of women being the issue- was James saying that there is a cycle (14:51 - 15:18) is self perpetuating because of everyone misses the red flags. And ultimately- it’s the criminals fault for the injustice, not the victims. Thank you Fuhad and James for having this conversation and supporting women in the process. These are the men that boys need to view as a role model!❤❤❤

1:34:11 Fuhad’s giggle is EVERYTHING!!!!!!
James’ school stories are always top tier
I'm sure Fuhad had a word with him
The school stories had me rolling💀💀
That Alzheimer's one had me HOWLING 😭😭😭, geez Louise
That face James made when he’s confessing to taking them 2 cigarettes 😂 sentttt meee
This is the most I’ve heard Fuhad speak and I’m in love with guys voice. He loves football 🥹
That I take 2 cigarettes took me the FUCK OUT, "that 2 turned to 3" spud 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
she got the roll based off skill, its not forced she can sing & they thought she’d for the roll. saying its forced discredits the actress.
I feel that they didn’t really understand the little mermaid situation the best they could it’s a rare L for sng when it comes to this situation
I was thinking the same thing. I'm kind of disappointed
facts smh
Months later I've been catching up on these brothers and this is the only this I've heard that makes me think they're asleep
When you guys have a daughter you may get why it's important to have a black Little Mermaid.
I love hearing all of James stories! I am rolling every time! 😂
Fuhad: "Mine are all dark"
James: "I know they are"
Pleaaase

"I'm speaking to my wife, stfu, know your place" 😂
Love how you both adjusted yourselves at the same time
To be fair....i was sceptical of the Whitney Houston comment but my 4 year old told me he wanted to see Joe Pesci in real life 😳
I didn’t care as much before, but this episode is really making me appreciate how James puts the chapters on the videos. Thanks, James. ❤
I just realized when I tried to resume watching that I have no idea where I left off..
The two cigarettes took me out 😂 whyyyyyyy
Kick flips and a keychain SENT ME 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The pony tail snip story had me hyperventilating 😂

“ I’ will, check the windows first, before ,I check the pulse, I’m next”😂😂😂😭😭😭😭😂😂😂😂😂
I'm laughing right with Fuhad. Before he finished the preface of the story, I was done 😂
I cannot wait until you lot tour to the US, idc how far away from the state I’ll be at, I’m def traveling to watch you guys!

Stole mail from my neighbours, opened them, read them, then threw them away. Did this 1-2x a week. I was 6 😭
1:12:46 nah man said "GNARLY" 😭😭😭
Who are you? No… who are you. HAD ME DEAD 💀😂
James snapping “shut up and read your thing you fast fashion yat” 😂
“The Black boy, because he’s 18😂😂😂😂” in dying 😂
Haha been refreshing this page for about an hour!! 🎉🎉
One day on the way to church my little brother (7years old) said to my mother “Mommy let us take the short cut to church”.
My mom asked “what shortcut?” And he told her “the shortcut down that yard which daddy takes me all the time to see the woman name sherene”….😂😂
That’s the day my mom found out that her husband was cheating for months with shortcut lady “sherene” 🤣
Legs contorted 💀💀💀 omg 😂😂
Came over here from tiktok since I always laugh with you there. You guys are great! Much love from Sweden
But definitely love you guys, a Patreon listener here
!MILLION likes/loves!!!!
I do agree we need new stand alone movies as well
But they didn't need to completely change of the character looked.
I’m screaming as the babysitter and hair cutting story 😂😂😂
11:02
I really appreciate how these absolute MEN not only didn’t try to justify the boys actions- but they didn’t even HINT at it being the woman’s fault.
Fuhad sitting up there looking like a whole dark chocolate snack with spirinkles😇🥰
I just watched my first video of this podcast a few days ago and i can't get enough, they are hilarious 🤣. But I have noticed that James always plays with his leg hair😂. Has anyone else noticed this?
Question: Why is the lesbian kiss unnecessary, but not all the kisses that happen in other Disney movies (Aladdin, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, etc.)?
James’s stories 😂🤣
Mom where tf am I!?🤌🏾 I’m sorry it sent me!🙌🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The thought of little James hustling loose cigarettes during recess is too funny!
😂
Am I the only one that loves when James laughs as he’s telling a joke ❤️🫶
3rd week in a row we getting a long episode 🤌🏼🔥
love this podcast !!
people that don't see art further than realism is so frustrating
I’m sooo in love with james and the way he tells his story😂😂♥️
The real question is, in this fantasy world was the crab native to the water or the mermaids. Wouldn’t that give us the answer. 😂😂😂 yeah I don’t care.
How is a fictional character blatantly white? I admire Fuhads maturity in his perspective on this one. The jungle book and Aladdin examples make sense given the context provided
