The Stage is a deep album that deals with a lot of concepts like artificial intelligence (Creating God), evolution (Paradigm), humankind’s dillemas in history and the future (The Stage), space (Higher), the universe (Exist), reality, and many theories about it (Exist, Simulation). It truly is amazing. I recommend you check out the ones I’ve listed here, as well as Fermi Paradox.
Paradigm is more about bionic enhancements and using nanobots to rebuild your tissue in a more healthy, speaking about if it's better that we are mortal or if we should replace parts of ourselves to live forever and become better and stronger. It also asks "how many parts can you replace before you're no longer 'you'?". It implies that maybe changing the human form is playing god.
I just wanted to sum it up in one word, and according to the videos played at their concerts, it looked like evolution. i had interpreted it as saying that bionic enhancements are our next evolutionary step.
Listen yall. I've been listening to A7X for my whole life and their whole career, through everything. I know this is years after this video was posted, but this album spoke to my soul on a different level than all their other albums. this is the longest metal song i've heard so far and also by my favorite band this new album is definitely a billion times better with the new drummer than hail to the king with the worst drummer in a7x history it's sad because the songs on hail to the king are pretty neat but so simple. but all aside of their story congratulations on fcing the whole album!

Here's the crazy thing: I practiced the solo at 4:50 for a while and then ended up hitting it first try on this run. I set aside an entire night to try to record this FC and it happened WAY faster than I was expecting. I'm in love with this song. Absolute masterpiece.
When I first listened to this song, I knew it was 15 and a half minutes, but damn, I was still not prepared. And that's my one complaint really with the song is that feels long. The actual length is definitely not the problem, after all, my favorite song is ...AJFA, and it has a run time of 9:46, but ...AJFA doesn't feel like that. It feels like four to five minutes. This song felt like it was 15 minutes long and I was honestly exhausted. I had been planning on staying up late that night, but then I listened to the song and gave up trying to stay awake. That's how long this song feels. It's like running a marathon. Don't get me wrong though. I enjoyed every minute of it, but I stopped paying attention to the music, the bad way where you just stop listening altogether, and just sort of sat there doing nothing until the song was over. But that's just my opinion.

There's definitely some tremolo picks in the first movement that were left out and a bunch of arpeggios and chords that were left out during the chorus. The chorus bits are a tad hard to hear, so I can see how they might have been missed but they're definitely there. Edit: Also, I know they might not be as fun to play in guitar hero, but what about the octave bits during the Neil Degrasse Tyson speech? There's also a rhythm guitar part they could've charted. I mean, the synth part, really? Still a great FC Jason.
