I've got a lot of video that haven't been all edited pertaining to the truck. I hope this winter I can get them uploaded while I'm less busy. Stay tuned for a truck update
I didn't pay much attention to exactly how much I ground away but I'd say it was around 1/8inch everywhere except for the rear cylinders. Those had some extra casting so they needed a bit more. I will attach the link of where I got a lot of my info for this procedure. It says to keep about .060-.080 in clearance for all moving parts so that's about how much I have. www.google.com/amp/s/blog.k1technologies.com/how-to-clearance-your-block-for-a-stroker-crankshaft%3fhs_amp=true Hope this helps
To clearance the block for the stroker kit I just used a die grinder with a carbide bit. Just took very little off at a time until I had roughly .060-.080" clearance between the rod bolts and the block.

Here is a link to the kit I used: www.cnc-motorsports.com/gen-iii-5-7-hemi-397-stroker-kit-balanced-wiseco-pistons-5cc-flat-top.html
How much did you end up removing? Also what kinda clearance should you have ?

@@andrewdugan820 awesome, I was just about to ask the same thing
I’ve been wanting to do this to my 07 ram. What stroker kit are using and about how much was it.
It's a kit sold by cncmotorsports its the compstar kit with -5cc pistons. I believe it was around $2800 when I got it. Think they are around $3300 now
What did you use to clearance the block? Or did you take it to a machine shop?

Nice. I'm looking to do the same to my 5.7. It was nice to see someone do this specifically to a 5.7 block for a visual reference. Thanks!
First and I will watch....
