Love your videos. I did the same mount. Just need to take or the passenger side fan to get clearance to remove and install mounts. I also notice you put in the rubber cover backward. Should on been like that from Acura so we can easily see if the mount was bad in the first place.
I have a 2004 acura tsx. I changed out the front motor mount a whole back but my mechanic didn’t connect the hose back on or took it off. My car still shakes alot on drive reverse and especially on a red light. Should replacing or reconnecting the hose, if it’s still there, fix the shaking issue? TIA
Pro tip: Loosen the side motor mount (the one that connects the mount to the engine bracket only). Otherwise if its a good sid emount, the whole car will be lifted when you use the jack, not only the engine. I had a hard time pulling the old one out and pushing the new one in place because of this. Otherwise not really hard. Need to remove the coolant reservoir and the plastic bracket under the oil cap to make space. I didnt have to remove the radiator fans.
Unnecessary steps, you don't need to drain the radiator coolant or remove any hoses. The mount is fairly easily removed just by removing one bolt on the overflow tank and pushing the radiator hoses aside.
