Tessie, you should be able to google owner’s manual for that make and model. Almost all owner’s manuals are online now. So happy for you!
Shake out the wet clothes Tessie as you throw them into the dryer-that keeps them from being wrinkled AND helps them dry faster because the warm air moves around and through the clothes.

I'm 71 years old and I just purchased my first ever new washer. It's a portable unit that rolls up to the sink. It washes 8 lbs. of clothes per load. What a difference not going to the laundry room makes!

That is a awesome blessing Tessie. My washer and dryer are both old and was given to me when my sister bought new ones. No bells and whistles or digital doodads on them which is what I like. You have a fantastic son in law.
Love it! I want a set of those washtubs to replace the sink in my bathroom. It would be multipurpose- bathroom sink, utility sink, laundry sink.

Whoooooooopie! I'm so happy for you. Most of the time , if I am drying my clothes, I tumble them for a few minutes which softens the fabric a bit and keeps much moisture put of the house, then hang then up real quick to finish drying. Perma press and knits work well that way and it prevents me from needing to iron anything. I dry my towels sheets and jeans all the way. Then I leave my dryer door open until all the heat goes into my house, not out the vent. I leave my washer doir ajar because it can prevent mold
I used to take my toddler baths in those tubs. We did not have running hot water when I was a child. We got water from a hand pump. Good for garden beds. Congrats on the W/D❤

Congratulations! It is wonderful to have a washer and a dryer. No worries about the weather, the clothes and linens etc. still get done. Quite a find to get the old set of galvanized steel bins with their stand! I am sure those will get used too!
Happy for you. We recently upgraded our washer and dryer and gave our old set to someone through the buy nothing site. They were in need and were Happy to get them.

I am so excited for you both. Such a blessing. When I was a young adult and mom, we never had a washer and dryer. I was always so grateful for a laundry mat. Years later, I was gifted a washer, a wash line came with the house and bought a second hand dryer of our very own.

I totally get it. I used a side by side washer with the spinner for years. Like 6 or 7 years and hung laundry to dry indoors. I went on a local buy sell site... and saw a small appartment washer for $30. I went with my dolly and got it. It is small... but it spins everything out and make my life easier. I still hang dry laundry. BTW, when I brought it home... someone put pin holes in the entire drain hose. I took some dollarama electrical tape... and some goop adhesive I got from dumpster diving... and fixed it. The tape is multi colored and it looks like a international flag... but it works!!! That fix is about 4 years old now.

We had a large family, lots of laundry for the 9 of us! Big job keeping up with it! I am so thankful to have been able to have a good washer and dryer at home. Can't imagine keeping up doing it by hand.

Thank you so much the little solar units will not run the washer or the dryer but we do use it for our pumping system that we have for other uses

That is a great find. My washing machine is really old too, but after a few repairs over the years it still works good. I am a believer in use it up, wear it out. I won't replace it unless it totally dies.
