The Katy Trail is the longest rail to trail route in the country. Bike Across Missouri gives cyclists a guided experience as they travel on the 240 mile trail.
Even though it's not a Tour De France discipline of bicycle racing, this just Jay Nixon's petty, nonsensical decision to kill the Tour of Missouri bike race more brutal. What a showcase for biking of any kind in the Show Me State.

It is more pricey than I would like, but I'm willing to pay extra for a smaller, less crowded ride. RAGBRAI was cheaper, but the crowds......
The trail is free. Lodging will cost you. I dont know about camping. Its a nice level ride , with no hills.

I refuse to ride this trail until they allow free camping along the trail.

$$$450!!!! Does that cover all my food too??? For the life of me i can't even imagine how this should cost more than $100 but $450??
Its a guided tour. Most people dont need instructors to ride a long trail.
