I remember this vividly and have it on VHS. This was December 12, 1997, and this show STILL knew how to knock it out of the park. They were celebrating Hays' 25 years on the show at that point. They were soon to lose their way (1999) and the show would never again regain that respect it had held for such an astonishing amount of time. The brilliance of Kathryn Hays was what drew me to ATWT in 1978, and nearly 20 years later here, she could still deliver.
This is such a touching scene. I’m watching ATWT for first time with my grandmother. Looking forward to watching more and hope more episodes will be uploaded
