Seems like we should be getting somewhere, it seems like I'm neither here nor there... Honestly, one of the most amazing live bands ever. They will sound like them. Grantee it. Give them the cult following they deserve, follow them, like all their videos, make sure a band who is heart and soul themselves for decades, they deserve respect and LOVE.
@@KillaOunze though y exactly the same, it looked like a small Town country fair. It don't matter. This song is seriously between the very best of the '90s. Just unforgettable.
Just thought that they are better than U2. This last perform as superstars in some kind of showbiz, while Soul asylum... When I have heard again in February 2020, "Runaway train".... I just felt little electric touches all over my skin. It is one of the deepest songs ever, for those who lived the 1990s...
The only difference is that Nirvana gained fame in MAMMOTH proportions. Ofc they probably wouldn't be as massive today as they were in the peak of their career, but definitely not playing for only 40 people haha.
omg. I remember seeing these guys back in the day, it was packed.. theres like 40 people in lawn chairs now. what the hell. why would you even bother. its got to kill them. Although the've had as many members as quiet riot
Hey Tom that's not a bad question and it deserves a good answer. Let's start with why a person starts making Music to begin with. Most hear and/or see some band that really speaks to them, perform and thinks "Man! I wanna do THAT! I want to be that combination of both powerful and vulnerable and speak with real heartfelt passion and not be afraid, ashamed, or silently sheepish. I want to reach out and Be Someone". Then the dreams of Fame and Fortune start to come along when you find you actually can play and sing and maybe make a living at it and maybe, just maybe, actually become a star with all of the perceived perks of financial and public success. If a band is lucky and comes along at a time when they are seen as topical and interesting they might just make that leap. Then, the realities of the business of Music hit you with full force - the difficulties it presents in keeping anything like a family together, the odd contrast of being mega popular yet alone since people don't really meet you, they are seeking some image they've been fed or imagine on their own. The Party, the sex and drugs that may have seemed so appealing as a teen reveal themselves as superfluous, shallow and often counter-productive and destructive.. and all that's left of the Holy Trinity is Rock 'n Roll, the Music.... the thing that got you started in the first place. Ultimately, although there is no doubt that witnessing a live audience take your words and feelings to heart is incredibly moving, at some point you realize the number barely matters. It's just what moves you the most and "birds gotta fly, fish gotta swim" and real musicians gotta play. Dave is a real musician. I'm super glad Dave is still playing and while I hope his new material finds an audience, I do understand the value of playing your heart out to just One, even if that's just yourself. There's really nothing else quite like it.
This is 100% what music is all about. I'm privileged to live through the 80's and 90's. How far gone music like this is.
At 60 now I still love good music. Never getting old.
This band is really worth seeing and takes me back to people gone but not forgotten.
Even though it's a sad song, he looks so happy while still performing it. 😊 I like that.

This is how I imagine nirvana would be if Kurt was still alive; playing at some random festival in front of 40 people
Steven nirvana would never play in
Front of 40 people maybe in front of 40 million if he was alive
The only difference is that Nirvana gained fame in MAMMOTH proportions. Ofc they probably wouldn't be as massive today as they were in the peak of their career, but definitely not playing for only 40 people haha.
this was an anthem for us homeless... you think there's only 40 of us?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Man, the years haven't been kind to you Dave. Hope that he's not on drugs.
Okie Rider I think he looks great!!!
But handsone still
He looks fine to me, just not cosmetically altered like so many in these industries.
He was and still is not on drugs..

You need to consider the venue and location...An Asparagus festival in Stockton, Ca
Exactly...why would you do that .....cause it's the only gig you can get
Tom Lynch. It's about his music not necessarily the size he sings to
