    In this video a montage with some actions with the SPIKER, with this auraxium I’ve finally completed the secondary directive and unlocked THE IMMORTAL. The choice of the SPIKER as the last weapon for the directive was made by the people who took part in the pool I’ve created as shown in the first part of the video. Thanks to everyone and good watch!

    The SPIKER is the unique weapon from secondary directive exclusive for vs I’ve used. In the next paragraphs I’ll give you my impressions.
    First of all let’s talk about the model and animation. About that I have to say that the SPIKER is well made and perfectly suits the vanu style. The way it looks but most of all the purple ball that it shots are very distinctive and I wish that also the other empire specific weapons were so well made.
    Regarding the weapon mechanic it has two fire modes: the first is a 2x burst and the second is an armor piercing mode. Regarding the 2x burst mode which is the most important of the two, I can say that even if it’s a burst weapon on the paper it’s, in its usage, basically a semi auto weapon. Infact the burst is so fast and short that I sincerely didn’t feel any difference from any other semi auto weapon. The burst is pretty easy to control and can be easily chained. About the alternative fire mode it features an armor piercing mode. You can either simply fire or charge the weapon to deal some damage to all vehicles (even the heavy armored one). This is an unique trait of the SPIKER and of course a welcome addition (too many weapons are too similar to each other) but I won’t rely on it too much since the damage dealt is very small. At best you can get a kill on an abandoned vehicle or steal a kill on an already burning vehicle.
    In the end let’s talk about the weapon effectiveness. Overall the SPIKER is a good weapon if your aim is good enough. If you chain the burst and manage to retain a good accuracy it can perform well and it’s competitive with most of the primaries in the game. However keep in mind that it has a pretty small magazine and a pretty long reload speed for its category. Another important thing to know is that the damage drop off is pretty strong with this weapon (this is common for all the secondaries but there I felt it a little more) so trying to get to a shotgun range is a good idea.
    Overall I quite liked the SPIKER most of all for its unique traits but I won’t chose it over the PILOT that remains the best choice among all the secondary. My last suggestion when using the SPIKER is to always keep an eye on the fire mode icon because too many times I died by forgiving to change back to burst mode from the armor piercing mode.

      Thanks. The last two directives (exceptional I and secondary) have been hard tbh. I'm going to aurax the immortal now but then I need to go for something more relaxed.

    See your gameplay I thought your kd maybe extremely low coz bad aim but surprisingly checked it’s 2.2

      My kd is around 2 on average but all depends on what I'm using. In the last year I've used almost only secondaries so it dropped a bit from what it was. I'm more focused on kpm than kd anyway.
