L.D. 50 is one of the greatest albums I've ever had the pleasure to listen to. Most of the other albums are good, too. But L.D. 50 has a unique sound: primal and at times psychedelic.
Absolutely no other Mudvayne album beats out LD 50. Their 2nd record is a masterpiece as well, but LD 50 is one of the best albums ever created in the history of metal. I honestly couldn't care less about anything after TEoATtC

They were so ahead of their time. They stopped releasing music over a decade ago, yet this style of writing is very common among metal bands that came out in the 2010s. Thank you spotify for putting me on these great musicians
Start with Death Blooms, it's arguably the easiest song on bass...don't get me wrong, its not Easy, but comparatively so it's one of the more graspable ones.
I would highly recommend learning this way after you have learned how to play super hard and percussive. Because you will either hurt yourself or disappoint yourself into not playing.
God I forgot how many killer riffs are in just one song. I hope Chad Grey can get the band up and running again this decade lol Also can you do one for Static X?
Prizm 280 Apparently the Gallagher brother’s have started talking again, so maybe we’ll see an Oasis reunion ? But hopefully we also see a Mudvayne reunion :)
Supposedly Chad Grey is the reason the reunion hasn't happened. Also why Tripp left HellYeah. They are talking but Chad says he would rather do what he's doing instead. Last I heard.

I have the official sheet music and I learned that whole album one night. And decided to post something no one else had so that people could see how to play them. Everyone does dig and all the obvious ones. Trapped in the wake of a Dream is like the hardest song to play on that album. I hope they get back together but I doubt it’s going to happen..
I always felt like mudvayne were done a disservice by being classified as Nu Metal. Nothing against the genre, but they were much closer to progressive death than nu metal
@@metallicaboy1238 not trying to say, just the only thing i could compare them too. Their like system in the sense that they really got kind of boned when they were listed as nu metal
I think they got the nu metal branding because Sean "Clown" Crahn (No. 6 from Slipknot) was one of their producers or something like that... I think he was one of the exec. producers on L. D. 50, which was kinda nu metal. Plus it released in the late 90's, when every song that had a bounce beat was labeled "nu metal."
I think I need to start checking for their stuff. I see they have some good riffs. I hear about them a lot earlier but never interested to check them out until now because they’re usually labelled as a nu metal band and I never much into the genre.
