- Today we went to 's-Gravenzande in The Netherlands for the Bakkies & Bolides meeting which was organized by DriveLife. It's similar to a cars & coffee where cars from all classes were welcome. In this video you can see most of the participating cars leaving the event with a great acceleration, enjoy!

We've all seen nobheads crashing their supercars leaving a car show, it seems like they've added another level of difficulty by finding the narrowest road with busy cycle lanes on each side to do acceleration runs on, good job

Is that a 2 way road with only 1 lane?
no. this kind of road markings appear mostly on smaller roads in small communities. pedestrians and cyclists are meant to go on the sides, and very common on a road like this that they have priority/right of way over cars. cars can go both ways and use all of the road surface, but must give way to each other and give priority to pedestrians and cyclists in the case of 2 cars meeting while passing pedestrians or cyclists. in other words a bad choice for this kind of event

What in the world? oncoming traffic , cyclists and walkway, all on such a narrow path? Well done to the civil engineers,they really outdid themselves.
Not to be 'that guy', but this particular road is actually closed for motor traffic, except for residents (as seen on signs on Street View). All of the cars driving here were risking a €95 fine.
The urban planners did a great job designing a road for cyclists, mopeds and local residents if you ask me.. (edit: fixed typo)
