Almost done with my RV7A. Something that was helpful for me was when I did inventory I would mark on the inventory sheet where I put each part or group of parts. I either had bens or labeled a space on a shelf with number. It's was so easy to find parts.

I could see this being very helpful as the kits get bigger and include more parts! Thank you for the advice!

At the party? With the tacos? That's incredible.
We'll have to get together. Let me know if you need any pointers on what not to do-I'm an expert at that. Feel free to reach out any time.

Ryan, love the shop set up! How did you come up with the design of your paint booth and what appears to be a downdraft table? Where do you vent it?

The paint booth was built to essentially fill a void in the weird spaces in the back of my garage. There are cutouts and dropped ceilings to accommodate HVAC and stairs for the floor above, so I mapped out as big of an area as I could nestled between these things.
The downdraft table was basically made to maximize area from available materials, fit in the booth, and allow for as much space as possible. It's simply vented through a few filters and out the back door.

Nice start. Where did you get the replica of the aircraft?

      Thanks!
The R/C model is available at Horizon Hobby:

I have not flown it yet... still using it for a static display until I get some time to take it out.

What is the primer that you used that you like so much?

Akzo Nobel. Available many places, but I ordered mine from Aircraft Spruce.

irritating - the reason I am watching is so that I can see what you are doing. Your filming and editing seems optimized for speed - I never get to actually see what you are doing. So promising but ultimately unwatchable. Sad.

I’m sure there are videos out there that’ll move a bit slower for you. I’m not trying to create a step-by-step instructional series. It’s an overview.
      Good luck in your search!
