Huge thank you for waiting patiently for this video. We had a number of copyright issues due to the amount of footage used but it's all good to go now. Hope you guys enjoy me talking about a movie for TWO HOURS about the TWO TOWERS (but i'm not a rapper)
This, along with the Fellowship breakdown, are two of the most comprehensive breakdowns I have ever seen. I’ve enjoyed them IMMENSELY, and can not wait for Return of the King.
31:11 😂😂 yes one of my favorite lines as well .. and i also love the one Urak-Hai Screaming at the thought of meat!! Hahahha, he'd been going without for so long he screamed for joy and a tear slowly ran down his cheek ! 😂😂😂
The beginning of this movie is the GOAT of movies intros. I will die on this hill. Nothing since has come even close. As always, Thank you Paul, MT and the editors for your hard work. Cheers.
Yeah. It's still awesome but sadly not as good on the small screen. Still remember seeing it in theatres, and when it zooms out to the wide shot of them falling - nothing has come close to the awe I had at that moment. Same with the warg battle - the intensity of the horses hoofs and the crash as they charge into another was just a fantastic movie theatre experience
This channel is amazing, it relentlessly appears in my feed with top tier stuff. I particularly love the way I'm subtly told to smash that like button every time. It makes me want to hit that like button. Not because it's about working the algorithm to hit that like button but it's because it seems important to hit that like button. So I chose to tap the like button.
I've watched these movies literally dozen's of times…these breakdown's are an awesome addition & a must watch for LOTR's fans! Appreciate your hardworking mate!!!
I've never been a LOTR super fan, but watching these breakdowns has made me want to watch the trilogy again. Thanks for the breakdown; looking forward to ROTK
Great work man!!! I’m 20 min in and already off to an awesome start! I really like how u weave in reading passages from the book throughout the video. Love the long breakdowns! 🔥🔥🔥
@@heavyspoilers definitely did. i love anything that's at least in the spirit of Tolkien and not that amazon travesty. PJ's trilogy isn't perfect but it FEELS like Tolkien's universe
These 2 hr breakdowns are amazing Paul. Thank you. LOTR are some of my absolute favorites as well, The Bond films too. Those are the icing on the cake here. Can't wait!!
Really enjoying these breakdowns...onto the next one! My favourite quote from all three films is in this film "Theoden King stands alone" "Not alone, Rohirrim! TO THE KING!"
bro ur awesome for these man i love anything LotR and any thing of these movies like these from my childhood, thank you could never be a waste of time and es we swears it! golllum gollum we swears... on ... THE.... PRECCCCIIIIOOUSSSSSS!!!!
Thank you for the long videos, I can only imagine how much time and effort goes into them. I thoroughly enjoy the long videos and learn so much from them ❤
You're the GOAT, Paul, thank you for all the hard work, this is the best, love the book quotes, it really reflects how much work and love Peter Jackson put into these movies.
I’ve fallen asleep to this everyday since it dropped , starting from the point I got to the previous night ….but just watched it today in full ! Great work and no apology’s needed , I woulda been happy with another hours worth 😂😂 💥💥💥💥💥
Damn it Paul, how dare you take more than day to produce another 2 hour video for Return of the King! Awesome job, these are my absolute favourite films and I never get tired of anything to do with them, cracking job!
Yeah, the problem with the Elves at Helm's Deep is: the Elves had already fought multiple hugely destructive wars against the original Dark Lord, to say nothing of the rise of Sauron. They were tired, they were traumatized, and they were few. The Last Alliance was named because that was all the power the Elves had left--there was never going to be enough Elvish force in Middle Earth again to fight a war. Their last high-king was killed, and only the preservation wrought by the three rings enabled a handful of Elves to persist. They did enough!
Thank you Paul, Freindly neighbor Spoilerman(I remember when you used to use an avatar). This was a beautiful breakdown. The one about Vigo breaking his toes I didn't know it, so tha't news to me. XDDDDD
All this time I didn't twig you lived in the north of England haha! I wondered why you sounded like you were from round these parts! Geordie here, love your content man! Great stuff.
Such an amazing moment when Samwise realizes he's continuing in the story of the Silmarils. His whole life he is enamored with all things Elves and their stories and poems and songs and lands, and now he is in the story, and he also knows he is likely to not ever get back to the Shire (although he's hopeful!) ... but he doesn't turn back and presses on because there's a job to do. What.A.Freaking.Legend.
Cant wait for the James bond breakdown, that is going to be epic! My favoire bond movies are: For your eyes only, Casio Royal, Golden Eye, The living daylights and on her majesty's secret service. I have a soft spot for You only live twice too..
27:23 actually it is related to Scandinavian lexicon. When referring to a niece or a nephew, there are different words if it is the child of your sister or the child of your brother. As a linguist, who based much of his created languages in Finnish, Tolkien would’ve known that and put it in his work.
Huge thank you for waiting patiently for this video. We had a number of copyright issues due to the amount of footage used but it's all good to go now. Hope you guys enjoy me talking about a movie for TWO HOURS about the TWO TOWERS (but i'm not a rapper)
So cool I learned Viggo broke his toes actually when he kicked tha helmet 😂
You’re not a rapper, you’re the Master Spoiler. Thanks for the diligence to deliver this vid to us. This is my fave of the LOTR trilogy.

This, along with the Fellowship breakdown, are two of the most comprehensive breakdowns I have ever seen. I’ve enjoyed them IMMENSELY, and can not wait for Return of the King.
Ah thank you so much. That really means a lot.
You just seem so happy doing these longer form breakdowns. Great effort 👌
Aye I really enjoy em mate, less stress to just bang something out on the day to play into the algorithm
Frodo and Sam’s friendship throughout the books / films is one of my favourites.
Love that you continue to make the long form videos. Thank you!
Thank you, thank you!!! This is absolutely the comedic and insightful video we all need right now.
My only regret is that I have but one thumb to give. I really appreciate your work on those breakdowns from the past.
31:11 😂😂 yes one of my favorite lines as well .. and i also love the one Urak-Hai Screaming at the thought of meat!! Hahahha, he'd been going without for so long he screamed for joy and a tear slowly ran down his cheek ! 😂😂😂
Every time I walked into a bar with my (now) ex-wife, random dudes would always say that line for some unknown reason? 🤔

My favorite opening ever. Revenge of the Sith has a special place in my heart but this is it.
Thank you for making these videos. I need a distraction from reality and these long breakdowns help pass the time
Amazing! Can't wait for the Return of the King video.
LOVE these longer breakdowns, and specifically these lotr ones. Was waiting for this to drop! Can’t wait for part 3 😁

This was an amazing breakdown. Watched both, waiting for Return of the King. 😂

Been on fire with the break downs ! Thank you. Although i cant hear the letter V for a couple of days lol
Best series of all time. I remember watching this with my Dad
Nothing better to do at 7:00 AM Saturday morning than get a heavyspoiler breakdown of LoTR (fuck yeah Paul, fuck yeah)
Loved this breakdown and how long and detailed it was! Can't wait for return of the King.

Once again, another incredible breakdown and I spent the entire (nearly) 2 hours smiling! A palette cleanser after ROP ;) So happy, and thank you x
Great!! I'm watching the movies again thanks to your analysis of the first one 😊
Been waiting on this bad boy! Thanks mate!
This was awesome. Thanks so much looking forward to Return of the King
Right on time 😂😂😂😂 quality content as always my man
Thank you, HS team. Very well done.
All this time I didn't twig you lived in the north of England haha! I wondered why you sounded like you were from round these parts! Geordie here, love your content man! Great stuff.
Cheers mate
Freaking awesome breakdowns man. I love it. If you haven’t done Gladiator yet, you should do that next (after return of the king of course ;) )
It was packed at the theaters I arrived a little late and ended up sitting in the front row. Talk about being mind blown
I'm happy to hear about the Bond movies! Keep up the great work!
I BEEN WAITING FOR THIS PAULY
A feature length breakdown is some dirty work. Great job
Dude can you read us the full text from LoTR?? The bits when you read the book are great,100% would buy the audiobook
Well done!
Never stop the long videos!!!
I noticed a continuity error. At 6:52 when Gandalf is sitting with Frodo, he is not wearing the ring of Fire.
at 37 mins with the horses, I always took that to be Tom Bombadil, I'm sure its mentioned later on about horses being with him.
❤️❤️❤️ it doesn't matter how many times I've watched LOTR, I'll always watch a new break down!
Awesome. Can't wait for return of the king breakdown ☺️

Thank you Host Paul
I can't wait for The Return of the King!!! I so happy when this popped up on my notifications!! Don't rush, but also, please hurry! 😂 😅 ❤
My brother and mom are in New Zealand right now and they visited many of these areas they filmed these wonderful movies
INCREDIBLE!!! Thank you 😃❤️😃
you keep making them and I'll keep liking them
20:40 I don't think the Rohirrim killed those 5 orcs. Dont' we learn that Aragorn was correct it was the Isengard Uruks who killed them?
this is my understanding aswell
Amazing work as always.
as always, thanks paul
