Hi Jef. I was thinking about the promo's. I think it could be possible to play random songhooks from the played genre/format from the station. So you create a lot of hooks and put them in a special folder. And with the hooks Radiodj can create toth's randomly. So there will never be the same toth. The complete toth can exist from random items. And then you start with the 1 second silence and then the events created in the file. Could this be a great and fresh idea? What I, maybe it's me, didn't get is the settings from the silence file to the event. Maybe you can make a very short video about this? At this moment my pc is on long-term vacation. I think my CPU is dead... I hope to repair it quickly so I can play with Radiodj again. *I tried to listen to your station but you have a geo block. Thanks for so much info! Keep your channel going on! I think there's more to come! Greetings Michael from the Netherlands.
Hi Michael! You can always try that! To my ears, though, nothing's going to sound as tight as something you pre-produce. While RadioDJ does a decent job at mixing the hooks, it can't compete with the control and flexibility of a multi-track editor. Plus, creating all those hooks is time consuming! I'd rather be experimenting with new cocktail recipes! :) Re. XXX80s.com, give it another go. For some reason, geo-blocking was enabled. Thanks for watching my nutty videos!
Todd, thank you for the kind words! Unfortunately, the dry tracks aren't available. If you're just looking to experiment, create some AI tracks. You can even copy what I'm saying. Have fun with it!
You can use SQL to pull it off. OR, in my rotations, I just rotate them randomly. The song the liner references doesn't have to be played for the bit to work...since everyone knows the lyrics in the "snarky liner". It just reinforces the 80s branding.
5:45 - You NEVER precede a spot break with a jingle or a music promo! Music ALWAYS follows a music promo or jingle! It's a LAW! Or it should be! 9:16 - Now, THAT IS COOL!.... Or RAD, or SICK, or whatever the cool kids are saying these days.
Dude I appreciate everything you've uploaded. Thanks
Thanks SO much! I appreciate you taking the time to watch them.
I gotta say this was the most fun to watch of yours I've seen and that's a high bar. The methods you showed seemed particularly accessible.
Wow, really appreciate that! Thanks!
This is awesome!!!
Thanks! Happy you dug it!

Your work is phenomenal. Where can i get a copy of the dry voice tracks to play with

@@RadioDJDude Thank you
How can you do snarky lyrics in a rotation it not possible or have you a work around?

@@RadioDJDude cheers dude that's good workaround.

Exactly! It drives me bonkers when I hear a music promo before a stopset. Thanks for backing me up. :)
