I2 years ago was my last on-air gig on UK radio. Do I miss it, of course I do, I always said doing a radio show is the most fun you can have in a room all by yourself - almost. I remember being contorted like an octopus on this fader and that button, so exciting to be tight hitting the vocal with a dry jingle, the thrill LOL. I was the only jock to go to News on-time, yes, can you believe it? It's all over the place now, but maybe all-over-the-place is how they want it so let 'em get on with it. When they wheeled in the computers, was it the 90s? They changed radio forever. Not the same at all. This will amuse American jocks, over heeeere, a 'break' is an ad break, and 'bit' is what you did to your wife last night and she has a bruise now. For us Brits, a 'link' is that time when you talk inbetween songs ('bit'), you're the link between one song and another. I rocked-the-mic like a crazy nutter for many years. Now? I can't bear to even listen to that drivel. I must have grown up. Yeah that's it. In any case, I have one of those dark-brown voices, you know, mid-mornings, sexy, mellow (stop it) love shows, imaging, ads. I also produced ads and imaging for a ton of stations. Still do some VO jobs myself.

Are you able to use a different voice or is she the only one available.

Now if you can have Open AI create the speaks as downloadable audio files, then you can really save some time in the workflow. As it is now (from what you've shown us) you have to record each speak when she says them (Or record your entire conversation with her. With that said. You can really use this AI as an extra voice on your radio as she sound so more natural than what Eleven Labs can produce. Did you have to tweak any parameters to make her sound the way she does, or is that "right out the box"?

We love your content and you're helping us so much get our little station figured out. One topic request we'd love you to cover as we start to build our library and assets are tips and best practices for file structures and organization and naming conventions for audio files, music and all the other stuff so it doesn't turn into a complete chaotic mess over time. Hey, Jeff! How are ya? Wanted to let you know how you inspired me. I host a weekly three-hour show called Saturday Night 80s on a local LP-FM. After hosting the show for four years, I decided I needed to add something fun. Hence, Saturday Night 80s Remembers. So, coming out of the first break of each hour, I play an intro that segues into an audio clip of 80s nostalgia. It could be a movie quote, TV theme, an old memorable commercial, et al. I set up over 200 clips on a random rotation so it’s different every time. There are enough clips that, theoretically, there won’t be any repeats for the first year plus. Eventually, I’ll add more things like news headlines, sports headlines, etc. My only criteria is that I don't go longer than minute, if I can help it. Thank you for the inspiration.

Congratulations for your effort on this configuration, desde Mexico

While this is really exciting and the results, with persistence and a bit of effort are usable, I'm really waiting for the day when these services produce better quality audio that sparkles in the top end and doesn't sound quite as "artifacty". Clearly compromises have to be made for producing these at volume especially on free plans or at least free trials, but I have yet to see one of these services that can offer something that sounds like uncompressed audio, even at a premium price.
