Funnily enough, the artwork on that alternate artwork Kuriboh prize card DOES show up a lot on fake Yu-Gi-Oh! cards...especially here in the UK!!

Gemini Elf is a 4 star monster with 1900 ATK points. That's literally the highest ATK you can Normal Summon without any tributes or drawbacks. Dark Elf costs 1000 LP to attack, Jagen Bakdan (or w/e that spiders name is) costs half you LP 50% of the time when you attack, Goblin Attack Force goes into Defense mode after it attacks (and has 0 LP), and Rare Metal Dragon that has 2400 ATK and can't be Normal Summoned at all, udderly defeating the point of a 4 star monster. Flying Elepant would be better i'd wager because it has 50 less ATK, and can block being effected by your opponent's effect/magic/trap cards and then turn around an possibly instant kill your them next turn. That would be worth a spot in your deck (though having both aint bad either).
Alexandrite Dragon is a vanilla 4* with 2000 ATK and it's been out for a long time now. That threshold may have even been crossed again in the meantime; I don't know.

1900 atk in ocg was introduced in the 4th set (I forgot but it was that early) and immediately powercreeped by sangan, cyberstein and witch. 0:19
After Maha vaio release which happen after magic ruler changes and Konami trying to make the game more effect based and ending the exodia format, finally the 1900 atk are completely played in 1-2 off because opening it two of them is a brick.
Also this specific Taiwanese champion is playing ftk with Canon soldier and only played 1 elf.
I can rest assured that you will hate this format because the ftk potential is good damn high.

its not a "PSA bubble". these arent graded, and are incredibly rare collector pieces that warrant the price tag. these keep appreciating while high end stuff from goat format and similar cards are depreciating. just a whole different market for people with the truly deep pockets

I hope tcg gets the xyz kazuki made of dark magician girl, at least as a preorder product so the art can be available for us. They could make a Yugi sarcophagus deck box like how they made the kaiba briefcase, the deck could be the one he used against Atem and they add in the xyz

This is actually one of the extra leaked copies, not the original prize card given to winner which was given to the winner of the card in a black acrylic case (you showed a pic of the original around 1 minute mark). Which makes it even more wild that an extra leaked copy sold for this much.
Also the red eyes was given to winner of kids division, not for 5th place

I actually saw a development with that Red-Eyes, that it was acquired by some Japanese person on Twitter, though the details are a bit hard to clarify
The Summoned Skull was apparently lost in an earthquake, but the obscure sources that I found that tracked prize cards also said there were two copies of each of these T3 prizes, one of each kept by Konami and the others that were the actual prize, so it’s hard to confirm how accurate this information is
Also I’m scared to ask, what happened to my holy grail, (the BEUD), because I wanted to take a trip to Japan soon for the express intention of acquiring it
It’s also the sole reason I ignored Tyler the Great Warrior going on sale, because I wanted the BEUD instead

yeah, Mateo is pretty common since it was a top 8 prize and theres more of them, but the Ulevo would be probably the most insane thing to happen in the collector scene ever. I dont think Ive ever see a Xexex surface either
They need to reprint all of these and give it to TCG as well.

@Cirex2118 they're all completely useless cards by today's standards, and even back then were pretty useless besides gemini elf. Why does it matter? They won one of the first events ever, not much better reward than a completely unique prize. It's like a trophy. Also, they make nice looking proxies of these, you can just grab some of those. Especially since a reprint of these would be on the terrible new card stock they use today
