Hi. You are so prolific. What's left to talk about? How about top 5 rosters that need work? For example, when a mod makes beautiful rosters for one faction but appears to completely ignore others (Compare Saxony in Darthmod: Napoleon with, say, Wurttemburg. A lot of mods are guilty of this.) Or how about 5 most glaring historical inaccuracies?
Can you please make a review of The American Revolution Mod (T.A.R. Mod for short). It is an insane recreation of the American Revolution, featuring multiple campaigns, offering many features and modes controlled by a cool launcher, 100s of historical units (Most of which have historical descriptions) and the ability to have 30 and 40-unit armies. The mod uses the UI and AI from Darthmod and can be considered the big daddy of the Regiments of the American Revolution mod with many custom campaigns. The mod also features a cool intro movie when you launch the mod/game (something, to at least what I have played, no other mod does).

PUA is still updated. In the latest updates there will be emphasis on campaign 1772, France Louis 16 will be completely updated, famous ships, admirals, generals, minists of that era.

Hi, I'm happy that Realistic Battles for Imperial Destroyer is welcomed. I was feeling the need to do it because I like much Imperial Destroyer, but to me the battles were lacking, specially compared to Darthmod which I think is the best one in this aspect.
I always found the longer drawn out battles to be more immersive and fun to play. At least the slow big battles. If it was you having to kill 3 units with a full stack and it took forever maybe I would understand.
i was checking moddb and find another Overhauls that look interesting its called ""Wind From the East"| and "Absolutum Dominiun"" . check the maybe worth making video review for them aswell
I didn't even know that it is possible to add new regions in ETW. New territories in trade regions is real catch. I was hoping for a mod that includes new factions and territories. Definitely need to try out Imperial destroyer.
It's a powerful launcher, all of those setting with just one click in the launcher, no fiddling with files or the userscript. It has a lot of options to customize your experience. It might be daunting at first, but there's a comprehensive guide for all the buttons and learning it is worth it.
Finally a video that is objective. When i watched the previous videos focusing on individual mods, it felt like you never actually played the mods and just read the changelog somewhere. But now you say what is true, these mods, at first glance amazing, in reality they are not so amazing and they have a lot of flaws.
To be fair, every mod has a ton of issues. Even the big big ones. My spotlights are as much about giving the mods a platform to reach new people as it is for me to talk about why I like them. Talking about why they’re bad more often than not just ends up turning people away. Appreciate the kind words :) More videos like this one in the works my man!
Darthmod is my go to empire mod, I want to check out imperial splendour and I’ve played the original colonialism 1600AD mod mainly for the pike and shot era
Thanks for incentivizing me to give Empire another try. Loved the naval warfare but the rest was meh in the long run. PUA sounds promising, though, will definitely try it out to have some refreshing TW variety besides my Divide & Conquer evergreen that cost me half of my life.
I think Imperial Splendours battles are the very best. I like how fragile morale is, bad positioning and even on normal battle difficulty, your whole line can crumble. What I don't like about imperial splendour is the short campaign, 100turns and limited tech progression and sandbox. I love the units, the only problem is that small maps that give little space to manuever. Darthmod has a problem with too much death. It's not about breaking your enemies morale, it's about killing them to the last man and that is't fun. Empire 2 suffers from this too, you needing to kill rather than break units. The maps are huge which is alot of fun, but the units are a problem. There's just too much clutter and there is no focus or direction in the rosters.
I really enjoyed the Darthmod for empire shame I couldnt get it to work right with the jacobite mod for scotland but by installing that first I enjoyed my scottish campaign alot more.
sadly I have a bug that never lets me play past turn 37. no matter what faction I played the same turn made the game crash. the game has potential. but the bloody bugs that even modes can't fix.....
Hope that because CA seems unable to give more proper historical titles will release at some point a remastered version, like Rome. That would be wonderful because like Rome, with unlocked region creation, would give the modders the ground to build a proper world wide game.
The new Empire 2 (4.3) update is beyond broken. The AI doesn't upgrade military buildings so they are stuck in the Pike and shot era because they added a 1690 start date (??) and there is SO much research that even if the AI did upgrade their barracks they would be so far behind in Tech. There is also a huge issue with population growth.
I've never been able to finish a campaign on vanilla because of crashes. They should redo and church it up at some point. I would like a good pike and shot era on an empire scale.
finally someone wakes up and talks about the real deal with empire 2, i just played a couple battles and it seemed pretty bad, looks like the second coming of jesus christ just because he has put some shitty AI images on his banner and the menu background but its battle balance is all over the place. 300 men formations shooting point blank two feet away and delivering zero casualties, successful rear cavalry charges that end up in your cavalry unit wavering, general morale wonkiness all over the place with units randomly routing or enemy units encircled and withstanding fire to almost depletion, tbh battles is all TW is, if i want to play a campaign map game i go to paradox, that mod is completely unplayable, it ruined 60% of the game, no matter the amount of units, the amount of submods or the size of the units btw, not talking about the "borrowing" thing, bronze age for rome 2 is also a sketchy mod ive been told, me being a modder i have no problem with anyone using any of my assets or updating my mods as long as you dont claim its your own work or ask for money
Decided to give Pirates Uber Alles a try. After a 12+ gig download and slightly less-than-easy installation process I had it up and running. I started a campaign as Great Britain in 1703. As Great Britain you start off in a war with France and I could not find a single British ship on the map. Not a one, no navy whatsoever. Went to research a technology and under the Philosophy group you can start with Colonial Genocide and Slavery - it was at this point I it crossed my mind I wasn't going to enjoy this mod as much as I thought I would. Browsing through my territories I noticed that at the Moose Factory, in Canada I could recruit African Militia. I think I'll try something else.
I know this is very late, but, I am looking for a mod which the soldiers actually ram the rod just once. Yes, Im unhelpful, but I remember a mod like this, most likely amongst these mods, and would love to play it again.
I didn't managed to get into the Steam Beta, that's why Empire 2 is really amazing, it allowed me to play a co-op campaign with a friend@@KitteridgeStudios
Have you ever had problems with crashes in Imperial Splendor? It felt like it crashed every other turn for me when I played it. That was the major reason that i stopped playing it. Now on Empire 2, which I’m enjoying for the most part, although if does crash every now and then.
I started playing Empire recently and my biggest issues with the game is unit attack orders. My line infantry keeps shuffling left and right and reorganizing when I give them and attack order, and then they start firing from a weird angle with like 30% of the troops. Do any of these mods tackle this issue? Or is there a mod specifically for this?
No, you just shouldn't use attack orders at all. You should just concern on placing your units on advantageous positions and closing distance until the enemy is at shooting range, the men will do the rest automatically and will stay where you left them.
I play the Pirates Uber Alles mod and every country I start a new game in every province I have -100 anxiety, is this some kind of bug? is it supposed to be like that, because if it's supposed to be like that, this mod makes no sense, and the second question is why, as a Mugal Empire, you can't recruit ships?
I love this game currently broken for me and I can't find a fix so I have given up ...I still love this game though I ll wait until the next update I guess as we had one to my surprise probably that was what broke my game lol but still I live in hope thar the next fix means I can play again
Hear me out a 3 game series with game 1 being medieval and includes everything in the European and middle east area game 2 being pike and shot to revolution that includes the colonization of the America's and game 3 being Victoria and the far east India Africa and Australia China etc...
Empire 2 has way too many different units for sure. Was going to do a Russian campaign and my goodness. Have to tweak the sensitivity settings on my mouse to pick a unit for recruitment. Also, some units go prone which is weird and they end up shooting grass
could you make a video on how to install PIRATES UBER ALLES please ive followed the instructiond the best i can but cant get it to work i get to the launcher and it wont load the game a box in the corner comes up and says cant find the path to walli engine
I have been playing vanilla and darth mod for a year. It was in 2016. I'm very sad about the state of the TW series now. Which ETW mod do U recommend to play first?
is there a mod that adds or modify an existing unique building that gives unique stats like accuracy or reload skill like in shogun 2? i always like to find the best provinces to create the most powerful units of the campaign.
Empire is the unfortunate guinea pig. CA tried to do something new and different on a new engine, with new tech, time period, on a new delivery platform (steam! This was the first total war on steam and steam itself was pretty new). The game had so much potential, but was abandoned by CA. It's a damn shame because it was my favourite for a long time.
I think the Game is challenging enough except when playing as Britain, or one of the Indian factions. Britain is pretty easy to play, you can easily get a foothold on all 3 theatres, and prevail at sea, because they start with 4th rates, and all the Indians have to do is conquer India, and the Ottomans. They don't really need the sea. Everyone else struggles to snowball because of ports in their home region, and their inability to keep their trade routes open. There are a few cheats, like Netherlands can conquer France on turn 1 or 2. And France can turn on Spain, and throw the world into chaos. The real problem with the AI is not that it is weak against the player, but that the AI is weak against other AI factions. And this is the main problem with all the Total War games, and indeed 4x historical games in general. Improving AI may help the hard-core gamers that micro manage battles so that they can win battles outnumbered 4-1, but for the average player, who is less intense, the "Problems" with the AI, except for sieges, pathing and so on, actually make the game harder, not too easy. For example, blockading ports and raiding trade routes is way too easy and can lose you the game by starving your money supply within one turn. That is just silly.
I haven't noticed the Darthmod being much better. AI tactically still moves stupidly and units stand around instead of fighting when they have overwhelming strength. Campaign AI still has major and minor countries declaring war on you for no reason. I had Austria make a trade deal with my Ottoman Turks and immediately declare war in the next instant! No rhyme or reason to diplomacy other than gang up on the human player. Massive Persian armies keep generating and attacking like Mongol hordes. If I get the upper hand and gain a respite, some minor with a huge army lands on my coast. Non stop "whack a mole" against 6-8 major and minors declaring war in the first 5 turns of the game.
Empire 2 can be summarised by an amazing campaign map combined with an abyssmal experience during battles. Regarding battles: I think most of all the units are extremely lacking in terms of graphics, they look low res, clonky, outdated and plain ugly, if they could somehow be brought up to the standard of NTW units that would be amazing. Also, and the mix of different unit card designs makes every faction feel incoherent and just mish-mashed together by different authors. There is no consistency. As a final note ETW2 should disable the square formation. It's still bugged in the main game and CA will probably never fix it like they fixed it in NTW.

i was checking moddb and find another Overhauls that look interesting its called ""Wind From the East"| and "Absolutum Dominiun"" . check the maybe worth making video review for them aswell
I didn't even know that it is possible to add new regions in ETW. New territories in trade regions is real catch. I was hoping for a mod that includes new factions and territories. Definitely need to try out Imperial destroyer.
8:45 Woah, that’s too much “flexibility” lol
It's a powerful launcher, all of those setting with just one click in the launcher, no fiddling with files or the userscript. It has a lot of options to customize your experience. It might be daunting at first, but there's a comprehensive guide for all the buttons and learning it is worth it.
@@CheriShin21 hopefully terminator covers that aspect in his upcoming video.
I was thinking about trying Empire again since I didn't give it much of a chance back in the day.
My favorite mod and that I play very often and enjoy is darthmod, but that pirates uber alles sounds good.
Thanks for incentivizing me to give Empire another try. Loved the naval warfare but the rest was meh in the long run. PUA sounds promising, though, will definitely try it out to have some refreshing TW variety besides my Divide & Conquer evergreen that cost me half of my life.
Pirates Uber Alles is definitely the GOAT but An Empire Enhanced is what you need if you want only a vanilla enhancement mod
Hetmanat Total War is my favourite
There's just too much clutter and there is no focus or direction in the rosters.
if you are going to add regions, please add them in France
Im still running darthmod after all these years,if your new to empire go with darthmod.
Does anyone know of a way that actually works, to stop the lag in city battles if you blow a wall? Thanks.
I really enjoyed the Darthmod for empire shame I couldnt get it to work right with the jacobite mod for scotland but by installing that first I enjoyed my scottish campaign alot more.
Great video mate, thanks.
sadly I have a bug that never lets me play past turn 37. no matter what faction I played the same turn made the game crash. the game has potential. but the bloody bugs that even modes can't fix.....
Great vid ! Just to say there is a late campaign in darthmod to
Hope that because CA seems unable to give more proper historical titles will release at some point a remastered version, like Rome. That would be wonderful because like Rome, with unlocked region creation, would give the modders the ground to build a proper world wide game.
Bro can you give the guide to how to install pirates uber alles?
The new Empire 2 (4.3) update is beyond broken. The AI doesn't upgrade military buildings so they are stuck in the Pike and shot era because they added a 1690 start date (??) and there is SO much research that even if the AI did upgrade their barracks they would be so far behind in Tech. There is also a huge issue with population growth.
I've never been able to finish a campaign on vanilla because of crashes. They should redo and church it up at some point. I would like a good pike and shot era on an empire scale.
Thanks! I'll give Pirates a try!
I put over 1,000 hours into the vanilla. I hate it’s bugs but it’s still a great game
i played Emprire Total War 2, with this mods, but my game keeps crashing when loading after turn 20, and i found no solution on internet
finally someone wakes up and talks about the real deal with empire 2, i just played a couple battles and it seemed pretty bad, looks like the second coming of jesus christ just because he has put some shitty AI images on his banner and the menu background but its battle balance is all over the place. 300 men formations shooting point blank two feet away and delivering zero casualties, successful rear cavalry charges that end up in your cavalry unit wavering, general morale wonkiness all over the place with units randomly routing or enemy units encircled and withstanding fire to almost depletion, tbh battles is all TW is, if i want to play a campaign map game i go to paradox, that mod is completely unplayable, it ruined 60% of the game, no matter the amount of units, the amount of submods or the size of the units
btw, not talking about the "borrowing" thing, bronze age for rome 2 is also a sketchy mod ive been told, me being a modder i have no problem with anyone using any of my assets or updating my mods as long as you dont claim its your own work or ask for money
Empire and Rome 1 my absolute favorite.
So can we see you doing an Empire campaign Termi?! 🤞
I know this is very late, but, I am looking for a mod which the soldiers actually ram the rod just once. Yes, Im unhelpful, but I remember a mod like this, most likely amongst these mods, and would love to play it again.
A really good point for Empire 2 is that it includes a multiplayer campaign just like the one in Napoleon
If you managed to get into the Steam Beta over ten years ago.
I didn't managed to get into the Steam Beta, that's why Empire 2 is really amazing, it allowed me to play a co-op campaign with a friend@@KitteridgeStudios
Biggest Battle of the Century CA VS EA
i really miss naval combat
Darthmod is great! I enjoyed!
We need a new and polished American Civil War mod
Thank you my friend
Have you ever had problems with crashes in Imperial Splendor? It felt like it crashed every other turn for me when I played it. That was the major reason that i stopped playing it. Now on Empire 2, which I’m enjoying for the most part, although if does crash every now and then.
Interesting. Opposite experience for me haha. Just goes to show for some its a very different experience
Oh wow, someone has never heard the word “preface” spoken out loud before…
in vanilla, diplomacy made no sense, you were declared war upon, out of blue, backstabed, etc.
I love this game currently broken for me and I can't find a fix so I have given up ...I still love this game though I ll wait until the next update I guess as we had one to my surprise probably that was what broke my game lol but still I live in hope thar the next fix means I can play again
Last time I played was August 22
The game is fixed now, a fresh steam install would work fine.
Empire and Napoleon need blood and gore dlc 😎
Hear me out a 3 game series with game 1 being medieval and includes everything in the European and middle east area game 2 being pike and shot to revolution that includes the colonization of the America's and game 3 being Victoria and the far east India Africa and Australia China etc...
Empire 2 has way too many different units for sure. Was going to do a Russian campaign and my goodness. Have to tweak the sensitivity settings on my mouse to pick a unit for recruitment. Also, some units go prone which is weird and they end up shooting grass
Try the PUA mod, especially with the 1703 Great Northern War Russian campaign :)
I tried empire 2 and i love it because of the amount of unit variety, visuals and content but the battles arent that great
could you make a video on how to install PIRATES UBER ALLES please ive followed the instructiond the best i can but cant get it to work i get to the launcher and it wont load the game a box in the corner comes up and says cant find the path to walli engine
I will be soon ❤️
thank you so much

I have been playing vanilla and darth mod for a year. It was in 2016. I'm very sad about the state of the TW series now. Which ETW mod do U recommend to play first?
Try PUA see what you think :)
Such a shame Darmthmod for Empire is so tempermental and pretty much doesnt install half the time
is there a mod that adds or modify an existing unique building that gives unique stats like accuracy or reload skill like in shogun 2? i always like to find the best provinces to create the most powerful units of the campaign.
so Imperial Spledour or PUA mods would be a good start if u are bored at home & want to try out new mods for Empire?
Empire is the unfortunate guinea pig. CA tried to do something new and different on a new engine, with new tech, time period, on a new delivery platform (steam! This was the first total war on steam and steam itself was pretty new).
The game had so much potential, but was abandoned by CA. It's a damn shame because it was my favourite for a long time.
What settings would you use on the launcher for a slighty more realistic battles
I don't really have a problem with the bad AI, because it makes up for factions attacking me for no logical reason.
plz show the link for 40 unit in battle mod for etw IMPERIAL DESTROYER
OMG SO EPIC !!!!!
Sad that nothing will fix the broken AI. In any overhaul, it's almost possible to curbstomp the AI in about 50-70 turns and declare yourself winner
Empire 2 can be summarised by an amazing campaign map combined with an abyssmal experience during battles.
Regarding battles:
I think most of all the units are extremely lacking in terms of graphics, they look low res, clonky, outdated and plain ugly, if they could somehow be brought up to the standard of NTW units that would be amazing.
Also, and the mix of different unit card designs makes every faction feel incoherent and just mish-mashed together by different authors.
There is no consistency.
As a final note ETW2 should disable the square formation. It's still bugged in the main game and CA will probably never fix it like they fixed it in NTW.
10:11 Still looking forward to this!
Great video ! Do you know if there is a mod that makes the game 32:9 ratio compatible. I'm running at 5120x1440 on a Samsung G9 OLED monitor , and at that resolution the game just looks streched and magnified on the sides.
You should try Absolutum dominum!!!!!
Haven't heard of it before, I will!
Funfact: Pirats Uber (Über) Alles is german and means pirates above everything.
Hello. Can you make a video regarding the installation of Pirates uber alles as none of the installation videos are in English nor up to date. thank you
I'll be doing a PUA spotlight soon I'll do it there :)
