i just started aldi and im on day four and will be working at one of the busiest stores in America. Your videos are so helpful! and also a tool to use on how things should be done.
You make the job look easy! I can tell you’re great at what you do.I just applied I hope they call me back😩I’ve seen so many bad reviews but I don’t know if it’s just from people that don’t actually want to work for their money and lazy or it’s just really that bad either way I’m willing to find out for myself 🤣
Compared to other retailers ALDI definitely pays more and has greater benefits than it's competitors. I will say this tho. Unless you're lucky enough to be on register all the time you'll be working for that 17hr or whatever your location offers. I'm not saying that job is extremely difficult but it definitely takes a little effort. In my opinion the only extreme downside especially if you're full time is the work life balance isn't great. You won't have a consistent schedule and it'll be alternating every week. One week you might open a lot and the next close. Its always changing and that's the reason why I left.
Great Video Pina.I'm new to your channel today.I have a interview with Aldi here in California this Thursday .Great insightful video ..I'm a athletic in great cardio shape. I'm up for this challenge
You are a former employee. The employees bust their butts there. Mostly under 25 year old women employees where I shop. They work there for a while then disappear. The shift manager where I shop she is about 23, works to the max constantly. Some men none over thirty. Way it is there a very demanding job.
As a former employee it’s considerably more women atleast in surrounding divisions and mine than other retail jobs. Shit was more demanding than any kitchen job where the casual smoke break and unprofessional banter. Everyone is on the clock. Creates super effective workers though.
according to this video, you are not a manager if you have to do that administration full-time cash register full-time stocking full-time; you are not managing position you are a Doer a worker.
Local food pantry comes weekly to pick up any food items that are damaged but edible (broken packages with inner pack still sealed). Some things like milk are regulated so they can't always be donated. We fill a van up weekly with food.
@@aojvx not sure if it's too late but as an employee of 3 years... RUN. This job has done nothing but stress me out and the amount of strain it puts on your body is insane. I now have carple tunnel and back problems. Also you will never be good enough, don't ever expect a thank you... Just go faster.

💯
Can I do this work as part-time job as a student?
Awesome !!
Do you guys choose your work partners for your truck yourself or does the manager choose People based off a speed and such?
You still work there?
I read that store managers work a 65 hour week. Is this true for your store also?
65 sound kinda high I’d say 55 - 60 hours would be the average work week
I only work 45 a week and that's on a busy week. Sometimes less.
@@Jthall1990My store manager on average would work 45-55 hrs a week. Even during holidays he never needed to work that much.
Americans are lucky they get to use electric pump trucks, manual only here in the UK.

I feel its borderline hostile work environment...
hahahaahahahaha
Its sad they have all that food they give away instesd of giving it to the needy. Dumb. Use it as a tax writeoff.
