Today I take a look at the Wild Mini Speaker by Muzen, testing it out in the country club and somewhere in the deep wilderness to see how it performs as a mini outdoor speaker! Thanks to this review, I picked one up, brand new with the same packaging for £57 on eBay. Very impressed with the sound and design. I'll try not to upset any music police while I'm wild camping.
First possible failure point I see is the two turny plastic buttons, but I'll probably lose it before they fail.
Stu, you should make a Spotify list! I always enjoy the songs you use for your videos and the stuff you play over your speakers, I'd love to have a good listen to it myself.

I think if a group of ramblers came across someone blasting music out in the countryside, especially next to a big cave... there could be a good case of making sure that cave becomes a permanent home! :) - I have to say that whenever I do go to the great outdoors, the last thing I ever think of is music... the peace and calm is what I go out there for! Right... off to go and sort out some rabid rambler with a ghetto blaster! 😜

Is the big box it came in for any particular reason or just to look chunky and rugged? Is there anything else in it?
Just a nice carrying case for transporting! There’s room in there for any cables you might have and the paracord strap that comes with it 👍
Love the review. A very geeky product! How long will it play for and how long does it take to charge?
Not sure if I said, but was finding on full volume it was getting about 6 hours of use- on medium it was getting around the quoted of 8 hours 👍

There's NOTHING worse than going to a campsite and having to listen to some group of morons playing their shit music, selfishly oblivious to everyone else on the site who came to get away and enjoy some peace.
Haha! Very true… when I refer to camping, I mean more of the wilderness type of camping, out of sight of other people!

Honestly? Meh... You need to get the pro version to get USB-C. It's 2023, manufacturers PLEASE stop with the USB-mini. Even then it's ok. But for around $25 more you are in Minirig territory. Yes, it looks cool, agreed. But it screams gimmicky.
Didn’t realise minirig had gone that cheap - when I first checked them out years ago they were way more expensive!
Did they keep the same style for the pro as with this one?
