Hello my beloved TH-cam family.😘 In this video, I am making Sambal Tumis Ikan Selar (Yellowtail Scad). Its a well known, typical Malaysian recipe of seafood or meat in a spicy chilli paste/ puree without the interference of any curry powder or masala. Different people have different ways of making Fish Sambal and it turns out to be more likely the same anyway. Here's my way of making Sambal Tumis as I am no fan of too many ingredients and steps.👩🏽🍳❤

■ Ingredients for Sambal Tumis Ikan Selar
4 - 6 pieces of yellowtail scad or any preferred fish
turmeric as needed
3 shallots
1 medium-sized red onion
3 - 5 cloves garlic
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp brown sugar/ palm sugar
salt
water as needed
oil as needed
