Benjakitti Park is better because it is also designed according to the concept of a wetland ecosystem. The best parks in Bangkok in my opinion are Suan Luang Rama 9 and Queen Sirikit Park. Both parks were designed to be public parks from the beginning. The selection of plants and garden architectural elements are more beautiful. Both gardens were designed during a decade when Thailand's economy was good.
Just back from Bangkok, I was in Benjakitti last week and walked on the green mile. I like both parks, but the skywalk in Benjakitti is really nice. Already miss Bangkok!

I have to see Benjakitti for myself yet but we have been to Lumphini many times and love it. We didn’t find the paddle boats last time we were there since we didn’t walk the entire park. It was getting to hot even in January. lol I don’t know how you do it on the bike in the heat.
Bummer the hours for bikes is 10-3, the hottest part of the day 🥵🔥 You’d think bikes and runners can coexist on the trail early in the morning 🤷♂️ Bikes on one side, runners/walkers on the other side.

Its not open yet, and you can not get in. I'll be there when its open.

Some entrepreneur needs to open a bike rental in the parks…seems like you can buy/rent anything in Bangkok…except a darn bicycle!

Just not enough shade for such a hot climate, it is a pity for such a famous park.
They now have a floating pontoon in the lake at Benjakitti park. Looks like the duckboats will be back soon.

Unfortunately, Lumphini Park water in the lake was not treated well enough, making it dirty and smelly.
4th November is 3 days too early. Reaching the city on the 7th at soi 11.
