Why we took img of jw? Not real part because when i was solving a different problem it was coming 0 if i take the img part

I'm working on one non linear system, I have the output of the system for different frequencies of sine input. Can anyone help me here how to find the limit cycle of the system if I have output magnitude and phase value for different input frequencies?

Is it possible to use this theory to determine the stability of the whole system when the output of nonlinear system uses the past output of this nonlinear system like for example Neural Network controller ?

When I use the rlocus method on MATLAB for G , it seems that the root locus provided is different than the one in the example here. Is this because of a different root locus is sketched? or it is different in matlab?

We are not plotting root locus here. We are plotting polar plot for G(jw).

Dear sir , how to plot this question on matlab , and how to check stablity , I m familiar with Nyquist plot only , how to plot 1/kn with nyquest please help

Stability is explained in Lecture 12.
About MATLAB, I'm not sure if an inbuilt function is available for this.

If you use Mathcad, you can use it to plot them. I use it and i find good results.

how to solve this question( x" +5x' +x^2sgnm(x)=0, determine the stability of origin) pleas note "=dabol dot & '=dot

Try using Krasovskii's theorem, I guess that would give a conclusive answer :)

If the perturbance is given towards the stable region, then why would the system try to go back to the point A? Wouldn't it try to remain in the stable region?

Please watch Lecture 12, as it contains the explanation to your doubt :)

@@Topperly @Agney Ranjith look you said if we give small perturbation delta x operating point moves towards left(in stable region and property of stable control system is that it tries to bring system to "steady state" but here u said that amplitude decreases( why would it decrease and not increase or remain constant?)
