Double Kamikaze Drop at Extreme Convention Antwerpen - Aerial Silks

- Me doing a double kamikaze drop at the extreme convention at Antwerpen. It was my first time doing this drop. The sealing at the place where I practise isn't high enough to do this. Love it!
its not her fault people try to copy a youtube video without instruction. it should NOT be removed because someone decides to be unsafe
This drop isn't as dangerous as the Single Kamikaze Drop. If you study the drop you will see that with the single one you only have two crosses behind your back and when you cross them wrong they can undo eachother.
With the Double one you have three crosses behind your back and when two of them undo eachother you still have one behind your back. The drop on this video can never undo itself and isn't as dangerous as the single one.
A teenage girl just fell from a double and broke her skull and jaw at an aerial competition event I just attended. Every one was so traumatized and thought she had died. Her wraps did NOT catch her.

just because it's dangerous doesn't mean she should take the video down. any aerialist should know not to try anything they see in a video without proper instruction!
Unfortunately aerialists regularly copy videos. The problem with this drop is that the nature of its danger is extremely subtle. Most people would not pick up on the crossings detail. The video should be removed.
Sara Kaiser No. Just because the aerialists don't pick up the cross it shouldn't be removed. This video's purpose is not to teach the double kamikaze drop, just to show it. It doesn't require particular intellectual skills and if you copy it that means you're either really young or really stupid.

I also think that is very irresponsible to teach this drop to someone who can barely climb the silks and cand barely get into a straddle possition

The cross in the back has to start with a specific fabric 1st and then 2nd or this drop will not catch and can be potently fatal!!
A girl was taught by her instructor this drop and she wrapped it wrong and did a double and she fell all the way to the floor on the hard ground. She luckily survived and only had a skull fracture. My coach thought she was dead :(
It’s obvious from the bent knees while inverting, and the sloppy climb, that this aerialist is not at the correct level to safely perform this drop.

Very Dangerous Drop! Dont copy this one from a you tube video- rather get instruction on how to wrap it properly. Posting this is irresponsible.
Please take this video off!!!!! Due to this being in the interenet someone has seriously harmed themselves as it looks easy to an experienced aerialist but it's actually extremelly dangerous if not taught verbally as well.
