the really standout thing about her silks act is that you could take.a screenshot at any second and she would look impressive and magnificent, there’s no breaks in the routine. The way she moves the silks is so creative too it’s just all around amazing

I really love how even when she's just winding the silks around herself for support, or moving the fabric because its in the way, it all looks like its planned and was an intentional part of the act
The whole thing is tightly choreographed. No movement is out of place. It's so impressive
Props to the cellist, it's hard as hell to play standing up, speaking from experience
Not everyone can pull off the fast and aggressive side of aerial silks (especially since it’s seen as a “graceful” art) , she does it perfectly and flawlessly!!!
I saw this act live, sadly I think aerial silk is a "common act" in Cirque industry but this version totally blew me away. Mizuki really turn this art to a next level, she did figure I had never saw, it was fantastic. Bravo !

what this dude is saying (i’m pretty sure) is that they think that aerial silks are used a lot in circuses and that industry so Mizuki’s version of silks and her performance blew them away (was really epic (cool))
It took me two weeks to learn how to climb a silk and I’ve been doing it for about 3 to 4 months and I still probably can’t achieve this yet
The fact that she stayed in character throughout this insanely amazing routine is mind blowing. Just wow.
I don’t really care for fabric anymore, I’ve just been doing it for 22 years & quite honestly am just burnt out and see so much bad versions of it that it’s hard for me to get excited about it. Thank goodness for people like Mizuki who are breathing new life and possibilities into this discipline. This act made me so happy & she makes something as simple as a slack drop look fresh and interesting. I love it. Thank you for being so generous and sharing this whole act in it’s entirety. This is really special and very kind of you. 🐼🏆👍🏼♥️
I mean you're right but I think the less skilled performances are usually recreational acrobats or people who work for a less famous show. A lot of the mediocre aerial artists we see putting videos on yt might not be amazing or revolutionary. But if they're working for some unknown circus with no prestige or just doing it for fun I wouldn't expect them to be as good as a cirque du soliel performer. I personally like watching people who aren't that good try their best and have fun with their performance. Not everyone can be a master of their craft, capable of making original choreography and the most risky moves. I do however understand that watching people do similar routines can get boring and uninspired. It's obviously much more impressive to see people who are effortless and make dangerous moves look graceful and easy, but I like seeing all levels have their time to shine.
IKR! fabric can get so boring, same moves over and over
@@karmalotus22 her strength isn’t her level, you can find quite a bit of people more skilled than her in aerial silk, her strength is her artistry, and it’s the part we find new and refreshing. But in terms of skills when you enter the world of dynamic moves in aerial there are no end to the possibilities and it’s never boring

By far the most amazing ribbon dance I've ever seen. Usually i don't like these because it's too obvious they are about ti make a drop and not fluid enough but her moves are the the most beautiful and elegant I've seen in this field.
