This FINAL BOSS Weapon Is WAY BETTER Than I Thought… Marika's Hammer No Hit Run

- Even Bosses like Maliketh and Hoarah Loux don't stand a chance. Getting this Hammer from Elden Beast right at the end of the game is a shame, let's find out what happens if we get our hands on it earlier... This run is part of a challenge I'm doing to complete multiple different no-hit runs with weapons that my viewers request. I am trying to complete all 40 that have been requested before 2023. So far, 40 of 40 runs have been done in the last 8 weeks.

Rules: Complete the game while not taking any staggers or damage from enemies or traps. Environmental or self hits/damage are allowed, including fall damage. There is a required death at the beginning of the game which is not counted as a hit because it is needed for progression.

@@odddevil9535 Then make it that it doesn't work in pvp...most don't care about pvp anyway.
My idea would have been to either make the ash of war the three stage AoE slam from the boss fight (toned down for balancing) or keep it as is and apply a small AoE to the charged heavies. This concept exists in the Ruin Greatsword and would make sense as pretty much every attack Radagon throws has a small AoE.

@@Mixi_Hazbin so you're playing pve, decide to try pvp, and your ash of war simply doesn't work the way you're used to? Not every pvper is reading every patch note and spending hours on spreadsheets, a lot of people jump into a pvp match every once in a while, and there's a expectation that the moveset works like it does in pve. Damage scaling is one thing, changing how the actual move works though doesn't work.
Not only do I personally not mind getting the challenge weapon at the very start, I think it makes the run feel more authentic (somehow)
Well since it’s the last main boss you kill he couldn’t really do a playthrough without it right? Besides ng+. Unless I’m missing something
@@nosleepforme2242I reckon for weapons you can simply run and get without defeating any bosses should be gotten as part of the run, but items that cannot be obtained outside of simply progression should be fair game for cheating in.

others can't do, and it's something you do so much and often you often don't ever think that it's something others can't and won't do.
I often find myself not recording anymore, things that happened to me or I did, that gets millions of views on TH-cam and its like...
"I should've posted my clips long before theirs then, if this was so 'ooh ahh' I did this before they had chest hair!"

Just post everything you think is cool, that's what people do, and whatever sticks, will stick...

i think most people can agree that we dont care if u cheat the weapon in if u can not get it super early i would prefer to see a fun challenge run using the weapon to so we killed 12 bosses now we have the weapon or just ok we will not use that because u get it late
I definitely would not mind you using cheat engine to get the weapons, I would love to see your other runs where you had to cheat in the weapons.

That was an insanely clean Morgott fight.
What impresses me most about this guy isn’t his challenge runs. It’s his inventory selection. Never have I seen someone so masterful at navigating an inventory in any game.

Dude I can’t wait to see that Eleonora’s Poleblade run. It’s tied for my fav weapon in the game with the Wing of Astel. You should actually consider doing a run with that too later down the line
I am excited for the next run cause I absolutely love the look of the eleonora's poleblade and its ability. I also basically cheesed Melania with the ability alone.

Also, one thing I've always wondered: If Gideon gets his mace's ash of war AoE debuff off, does that count as a hit?
Debuffs don't count as hits as long as it doesn't do damage or stagger you

This was yet again an other awesome run the consistency is insane, one run I think would be cool is one where you got the age of stars ending no hit if you haven't already but I think some of the enemy's required for that would be interesting to see get no hit

Marika’s hammer is actually a really good weapon
It’s more an issue with the hammer move set being lackluster, scaling and weapon art are great though.
Exactly, this weapon is probably the most underrated weapon of the Game, is amazing, the weapon art is slow, but the tracking is absolutly nuts
@jajas king underrated because u only get it after finishing a playtrough and most ppl dont go for NG+

I got this weapon early in a randomizer run, and was really pleased with how good it was. The hyper armor on the aow is unreal.

Did about 3-4 journeys and then got sick of playing for a little with no DLC out yet. Then I watched a bunch of your runs and now I think I’m gonna get back into it again.

I think a bolt of gransax no hit run would be super entertaining, that weapon is insane with the right build! If you would like to try it out I would love to see it. Because it is so mid game it is okay to drop it for yourself like you did here if you end up deciding you want to.

The Eleonora run with those talismans is basically the exact build I use so very curious to see that! I personally think twinblades are great especially powerstanced
The two handed move set is better imo especially for status procs

I like any weapon being available at start, I've had a good time with glinstone Kris the Ash of War is very good
i used this weapon for pvp when the game first came out before people knew what it did. man those were good time you hit someone like 1 or 2 times then use the skill and nobody was ever ready for it. some even died to the skill in 1 hit ahhh such good times.
This has to be one of the Elden Ring any% hitless runs ever.

I did this on ng+. It was a lot of fun. Then I tried it again on ng+3 and the last boss was really tough.

Cheat engine-required runs sound perfectly fine to me
Could you do a guard counter “no hit” run or would blocking the hit count as a hit? Even so I would love to see a guard counter no damage taken run, would be very interesting to see how it works against certain bosses.
blocking does count as a hit but doing it no damage would be possible

Just a suggestion, to make it even more of a challenge you should fight every Remembrance boss
I like the idea of the elder scrolls multi game no damage run. I did a legendary Skyrim no damage run. Made two storm atronach staves at the forge, gave one to follower. Basically afk’d through it lol.
Not really, it was a very long run. I leveled smithing, sneak, alchemy and archery. Wasn’t going for speed at all
I think the best part of this whole video is seeing his face light up gold whenever he slaps somebody with the ash of war💀
I love your little insertions of item tooltips. Usually when I watch challenge runs, halve the time I don't know what all the setup is for. This makes it really conveniant.

Yeah bolt of gransax probably isn’t a great weapon for no hit runs, but it’s insane for a casual playthrough and clearing areas - it’s like paying a trained sniper to kill all the enemies for you before you even get there
I would love to see a run with the Crucible Tree Spear. It’s my favorite weapon for Elden Ring and I feel it’s criminally underused

The point of a weapon challenge run is to play the game with the weapon so I see no issue with just dropping you the stuff from the start, I find it a lot worse when people use glitches and weird skips to avoid a bunch of stuff only to come back later anyway. The question of the challenge is "how would the game be if you had this weap[on from the start and tried to beat the game with it" and not like "can you find a way to skip 5 mandatory bosses to get the golden backscratcher without doing any damage prior"

if the gold breaker AoW had more AoE range or damage, it could be alot of fun to use. and like the commenter below me said, followup attacks like Radagon does would be badass.

14:12 you can actually just progress millicent to windmill village, kill the apostle, and than if u kill millicent afterwards she will drop the prosthesis

I don't know if I'm tripping or something, but I don't have even half of the time when I break the stance before the boss recovers. Soon I hear the break stance sounds I'm charging my weapon for heavy. It's not colossal weapon, just regular sword or mace. And i can just hit it 1x with charged and 1x with R1 and that's it. Boss is already getting up

i don't consider a cheat engine cheat to be cheating a run, if the run defines the need for its use.
this was a good application.
also, i wouldn't mind if you cheated in the full map. you may not need the map, but i have no idea where you are when you show the mapless-map
