Love how you can close door for a master with a private on suite, recliners that face an entertainment center with a cozy fireplace and a back kitchen with windows to enjoy the view. We camp at the coast a lot and love to have the Ocean View when we back in. We bought this trailer and could not love it any more than we do.
Nice presentation. I really love the light interior I don’t understand why so many small trailer have dark cabinets and interiors it just makes them look smaller. My biggest complaint is the stove top because the knobs do melt they are too close to the burner and they are unprotected. I don’t like the cargo netting I think it cheapens the whole look. We appreciate you showing us with the slide in that makes a big difference for those of us that need travel access
Hiii Ms PJ!!! This is the video that moved me to order this trailer from you guys! It’s been a month in almost and so far so good! I still find myself watching this video as I’m still learning about its many features. The build quality is much better than previous years, and I’m sure that this is due in part to covid delays...I’m finding many QC markings where they seemed to have went through things more thoroughly. Keep up the great work with these informative videos! Thanks again PJ & Princess Craft RV
Glad you like it and have one on the way! Check out the tech tour on our other you tube channel: RV Tech Tours at Princess Craft. There should be a tech tour of that trailer as well!
A little design suggestion for manufacturer (1) Would love to see sink and stove/microwave location swapped for cooking access with slide closed. (2)Get rid of venta-hood and cabinet , replace with microwave convection combo and put drawers in microwave previous location. (3)Flipping bathroom shower sink/toilet location would move doorway for better access again when slid is closed. Other than that one of the best designs I've seen in this size.
Wow! What an amazingly complete presentation of a remarkable RV. Thanks for explaining a number of features that I never saw on other R-Pod 202 videos.
At 00:21, its not a "double axle" but instead it is called a "tandem axle". Also, at 18:54, it is not a 12v fridge. This is a 110 and requires shore power. Your battery will not power this unless you have the solar package and in that case, it will most likely drain your batteries through the inverter (that comes with the solar package from the factory).
These are getting better every year!! Wow. I also really like how you give the size, cost, and interior overview right up front (although total weight would also be a good upfront comment). Thank you!! Love the bathroom layout - but it did appear that someone your height would not have a good view of the mirror. An optional longer mirror with the cubby behind the mirror might be better for us shorter folks. Like the dual axles and the new color. Very enticing.
Really looking forward to your video of the 201 with no slide. We are super intrigued by that model. Also good that you offer the CombiCam - we did that on our trailer and it’s terrific. Another thorough video and thank you, again.
But that’s what bed Bath and beyond and even Wally world is good for or perhaps if you don’t want to leave the house Amazon that way you can personalize your RV
this is a perfect rv for the beginner like myself. tv opposite the couch someone was using their brain. hidden bedroom and bathroom area is nice touch. very nice rv with a good price. will be looking into this.i believe this has azdel on the siding.
OK pod friends... This is It! Lord willing tomorrow Tues the 8th of June 2021 we go to pick up our R-pod 192😯 @ Princess craft RV I'm excited but nervous and I don't want to be in a rush & overlook👀 anything that I should ask or check B4 we roll out of that dealership😳 Princess craft has been very good with us this far... They have been very patient and professional with all the calls I kept making to check if our trailer had arrived and they were on point. I believe we had the best salesman on the lot😀 I don't know how he does it but every time we would call him he was chirpy he was in a good mood and always willing to answer our dumb questions... Thank you Lucas we will see you Lord willing tomorrow
I would buy a Rockwood. I like that Rockwood uses an aluminum sub structure and not wood. I see FOREST RIVER still has those crappy stabilizers and those terrible tires made buy Castlerock...AKA CHINA BOMBS. I know if I buy a new RV from Rockwood, I will have tires and stabilizers removed because they are basically garbage. Overall, this is a nice trailer...well laid out.
What’s your opinion on how this compares to any forest river brand in this class just curious I’ve been watching different RV channels for about two years now and I’m doing my homework before I buy one
Hope you guys do a video on the Ibex 20bhs soon. We are just about ready to pull the trigger on one. And yes we are planning to drive from OKC to Round Rick to buy from you guys. Because you make good, informative videos.
I have one of those outdoor griddles (although it is a Blackstone). They are great, but they get hot. In this application will the griddle get so hot it damages the access door directly behind it?
Really don't like no drawers in kitchen. My apex nano doesn't have drawers and very inconvenient. Finally found metal small drawers to go under sink but kills my back. Hate everything about the bedroom- camp queen, long nightstands and closets go clear to the nightstand. I have to sleep with my arm wrapped in towel because this type of hanging closet hurts you at night. Like the recliner sofa but it is awkward with it being up off floor. Strange and potential for injury. Like the layout, just needs tweaking.
Love, love, love this R-Pod! But the plastic toilet is a BIG strike against it. After living full time for two and a half years with one, I will never have another one.
My compliments to PJ, she looks very attractive in the colour of her clothing , I notice her hair colour is chestnut and it suits her . I have always enjoyed her detailed descriptions of the RVs, even if i dont actually like them . The design appears to be basic . Compare these to other caravans (RVs) and they look basic , in their cupboard handles and fastenings and interior design.
I cannot find the dimensions for that couch in the open position. Could you provide the length and width for it in the open position? Also, what is the length and width of the floor space between the couch (in the couch position) and the bottom of the fireplace wall?
I would like the length and how many it sleeps where you see it right away. I like the recliner with the extra couch. The font table all around couch I with table & sits at least 6. Master bedroom you pull down that makes in to a couch & then pushes up withe bedding that folds back up. It needs to be finished at top so you don’t see the sheets at the top.The extra couch that has a recliner in it. It is very opened up . Looks great ! Thanks for showing all the layouts. I hope what I wrote makes sense,
Sure thing! Just verify the towing capacity of your actual truck. I've owned a half-ton truck with a towing capacity of just 4,109 lbs, and I now own a half-ton truck with 12,700 lbs of towing capacity (with a weight distribution hitch). So, each truck's setup is a little different. Make sure you know what you actually have.
Merlinda I was thinking the same thing but with all of that space in front of the sofa you might be able to add in a little butcher block or similar table and just toss it on the bed or couch when traveling.
@@darrenchichester9777 that's a good idea but in my opinion paying for a travel trailer then having to add what you need after the fact doesn't make sense to me.
I love this trailer. I looked on your website and I don't see any for sale. How much would a cash price be for one. When will you have another in for someone to purchase?
This would be perfect if it had a real queen bed? I wonder if it would be possible to put in a real queen size bed? I do not care if I can't walk around.
Didn’t hear about the emergency exit, and if it isn’t in the bedroom poor design for safety. Hope they fixed the sewer hose brackets too! Looking at the hot water system next to the door, not sure that would be safe for young ones, possible burn hazard.
You may be right but this is not a family camper. I also feel like I like it where it is as I can tell children about the danger and keep an eye on them? If it is around the other side or in back like others, the little ones are out of sight and maybe more likely to mess with it.
Very nice and ma’am you do one heckuva job of selling it you need to be a professor in a university to show people how to sell you’ve got what it takes anyway with that being said I wish that those slides would be about as quiet as a submarine I wonder why they are so noisy
They need to design these to be able to be used with the slide out still in if you want it in. If this slide out fails you have no access to you kitchen, solar system control, A/C, and lights. I wish i could design one. Give me a day and i could design one perfect. Don't they REALLY think when they made this. Its really nice when the slide out is well, out.... But id it failed you would be SOL.
The light color interior is very nice and the storage is good. Like the two grey tanks, but not the single 20lb propane (two would be better but that can be upgraded easily). There are a lot of funky things going on inside that I think is a deal breaker. The 6 cubic ft refrigerator is too small for that size of trailer. The positioning of the control panels scattered all over the walls and above the mantel in the living room. I also do not like the netting above the fireplace or the corded pocket shelves in the bedroom. The valance over that odd shape window in the bedroom is a terrible design. I'm betting the toilet is plastic (I find it interesting that you guys never specify that in your walk throughs). In my opinion the only way to go is porcelain (if you are not going the way of a composing toilet). Plastic discolors overtime and smells. I like the smaller Rpods better than this one.
I hate when they try to sell something like spacious cabinets when they are not. Huge bathroom and it’s not. I can see with my own eyes. Sorry nothing special here!
Well, for a 25ft overall length trailer, it's pretty "huge", 4X8 ft in 25ft is a good amount of space devoted to a space you don't spend a big chunk of time in daily.
It's never a wise thing to seriously consider any video showcasing a product because it'll be biased. What we need are reviews by real user/pros who are unbiased. Here's a better review imo th-cam.com/video/SkMDERxa9Q4/w-d-xo.html

Nice polite professional approach to the position of the toilet. You definitely give the best presentations of RVs.
This is absolutely the best review of an RV I have ever watched. Others should take note and learn from this lady.
Beat trailer I’ve ever seen reviewed on here. Simple but very effective layout.
I’m sold.

It looks so fresh and clean design. I feel this is the best R pod I've ever seen . The set up reminds me of a truck camper. Love this . Thanks PJ 🙋👍
Glad you like it!
@Baddy Btch 😂🤣😎
Love this trailer but would love to see it with 2 rocker recliners and small table between chairs in place of couch.
You need both dinette and recliners!

Good eyes

How do they construct all the wooden parts? I see staples on the doors.
This is perfect...except no drawer for utensils in kitchen. Other than that it is perfect.

A good looking travel trailer. Like the layout.
Low 20's?? I see these going for twice that everywhere!
Nice trailer and presentation! 1 Question. How do you access the water pump to bypass the water heater for winterizing?
Well designed. Love the white color inside. Yes! Would love to trade in my winnebago 2101fbs.

Does the heat from the griddle not melt the awning above?
If someone is in the bathroom is the bedroom blocked?
Hey you have a review on a 2021 or 2022 Rpod 196?

Can you double up on the propane tanks or opt out for a 30# ?
It is possible to run two tanks or to upgrade the capacity of the tank. The plastic cover won't fit the larger tank, but other covers are available.

It would fit with no walk around, but you would need to brace the foot of the mattress so it would sag! Let me know how it goes if you give it a try!
Does that iRV player have DVD capability?
The newer iRV players don't have built-in DVD players, but they do have HDMI inputs for connecting an external device.
