Thanks for mentioning to turn pff hot water switch after winterizing just in case the RPod is plugged in (around 21:45). The how-to winterization videos I watched didn't mention that. How long does it take to cause damage and what is the process if done? Mine was like that for 24hrs.
Often, little to no damage is found in a time period like that.... but in the instances where damage is done, it can be pretty bad. A service center technician can see damage right away if you get their eyes on it. You might look into the cabinet where the water heater/tank is located and look for melted/burned foam around the tank and associated components. If you don't see or smell anything right away, you're likely okay.
