@@MournfulNetsfan68 yes, he will never suit up for the Heat again. Pat Riley gave him 7 games which is about two weeks according to espn. Heat about to go on a road trip. He will be traded in a week.
2 finals 1 east conference finals Bam and Tyler as his 1,2 punch what else do you want ? He asked for help didn’t get it . He asked for contract extension didn’t get it Missed only 15 games last season with an ankle injury. It takes a full 2 weeks to heal . Where yall getting he don’t play at ?
lol bam ballers harder then Tyler and jimmy The heat trash They lucky Jason Tatum got hurt on the first drive of 2023 They get so lucky yet people think the heat are that team Nope Nobody gunna hold Tyler back 😂
@@boneezy1028 that’s like saying you won mvp for last season nd now people telling you that don’t matter cause it’s a new season 😂 yo points don’t add up to Facrs
Pat Riley is old school, “you embarrass this team publicly cuz I won’t give you $55mil plus for your late 30’s. Alright how about I take $4mil out your pocket on the way out the door with this suspension”
Pat has been ass though, he's signed nobody and fumbled Lillard PG Siakam OG and Derozan trades these past 3 years. Jimmy hard carried nobodies for 5 years. They made Tyler Herro believe he was black😂
Exactly. They put up with him missing all those games for shady reasons and he acts like this after finally being held accountable? Guess they’ll take a bit of compensation back then while we are at it. Goodbye Jimmy, good luck getting paid anywhere close to that player option anywhere else because nobody will pay you even close to that
@@AleeshaMoody-y7j thats not true. Heat Culture and the Patriots way have been a thing since the early 2000s. Those are the two staples is sports where a front office truly sets the rules.
Jimmy "Cant find joy in basketball making only 52million dollars in one year" Butler Honestly the massive increase in salary is the true culprit for the low rating in the NBA more than the abuse of 3-pointers, the lack of a Dynasty or the past 6 MVPs being European or African. I mean I get his anger, Zion, Pandemic P and Kawhi swimming in money while eating doritos on their couch, while he cant get a contract from his team. But he actin like he's working on retail.
Yep, I don't wanna hear this dude crying...you shoot a ball into a hoop, in Miami, of all places...get some perspective, people are starving these days
"insert thing I don't like about the NBA" is why the NBA is failing. Y'all all make these comments, the self importance is crazy. I've heard a dozen reasons why the NBA is failing this week alone.
But Sam also said he’s not been available how do you want to get paid more but work less lol Phila was desperate because Pandemic P’s, availability is the same as Leonard’s but that’s it the scarcity in the league makes teams pay guys like Pandemic P. I wouldn’t trade him though, because Jimmy has the leverage, decline his player option and make him a free agent at the end of the season. Just don’t play him no more his salary will basically be free for the rest of the season. If they trade him we won’t get fair value in return Mitchell, is right.
& backed 100% by owner mickey harrison not a winning situation for him ..... jimmy no buckets should continue playin' hard & request for a trade privately ....... who knows lakers gm/playin' coach bron bron blames is watchin' & might do somethin' ....... he's already traded his scapegoat dlo & probably needs a new one get the blame when things aren't right ....... go spurs !!!!!! 😂🤣😂🤣-😭😭😭😭😭😭
For the past five years Paul George haven't produced much in the league, he still landed a big contract with the 76ers. After all Jimmy have done for the Heat, he deserves to be compensated for all he has done. He carried that team for the past four years with very little to work with.
Jimmy Buckets has taken the Miami Heat to two finals and three Eastern Conference Championships they had no business being a part of whatsoever. One season of being hurt last year and now Pat Riley wanna be petty.
Yeah, it's petty. Especially after Pat said that his star player, who unfortunately got hurt before the playoffs, "should keep your mouth shut." How you gone tell your star player, who's hyping the team up in the media since he can't play, to shut up. Then treat him like this and expect him to want to stay
Jimmy has been freeloading the regular season for years. Always unavailable to play left and right for sissy reasons. Just because he decided to show up for a couple of postseasons doesn’t mean he can keep getting away with his bs forever. He needs to act like a pro. He is not going to get paid anywhere close to that player option anywhere else so the joke will be on him
I absolutely love it. The organizations want to hold players hostage. He took y'all weak ass team to the finals twice. In one year he did it the heat was the weakest team in the playoffs they were an eight seed and knocked out the number one seed. And we all know Jimmy Butler had a large part to do with it. The Celtics as well as the Knicks are too good of teams now they go out and make trades in the rosters come back better. You got porzingis, Holliday and Derek White. The Knicks got Carl Anthony towns. Who have the Miami heat gotten. Nobody it's time to go.
@@UnderiteEntertainmentI agree but at some point we gotta look at Jimmy 3 teams same results on his end. I understand he wants out but you have to sell yourself to other teams, what contender is gonna want him in their locker room?
First of all, jimmy is 35 years old on his way out of the league. No one in their right mind is giving him an extension. Look what the lakers gave Kobe and they ended up with the worst team in franchise history.
Pat Riley is the problem. And the media has yet to call him out on this. For years fans have heard about the mystique and the "greatness" of Pat Riley. After thinking about it, the truth is Pat has only won championships with generational talents (Magic, Kareem, Shaq, Dwade etc.) Outside of that.....what have his teams done? He had decent playoff runs with the Knicks and the Heat, but they never won a championship. Jimmy got them to 2 finals and a ECF with a fringe all-star (Bam Adeboyo) and a bunch of G-League and undrafted guys. I would say he overachieved. Pat ran off Shaq, didn't pay Dwade (gave Bosh the extension instead???), Threw shade at Lebron for leaving (after 4 trips to the finals) and now Butler is out the door. Pat is the problem. To many people have praised "heat culture" and it's gone to his head.
100% agree. I’ve been saying the guy doesn’t care about winning, he only cares about having power and control and players kissing his ass. Jimmy took that sorry team to 2 finals and Pat couldn’t even make a trade to improve the team, but the second Jimmy says something dumb about the Celtics, and Pat throws a conference to put him down. Embarrassing.
instead of giving dwyane wade his money he instead gave it to hassan whiteside, tyler johnson, dion waiters, duncan robinson bro needs to retire but he so stubborn he rather die at his desk than ever just let go of his pride and ego if we would’ve gotten any other star like kyrie, dmitch, harden , dame and just some decent role players we would’ve had a chip by now
Pat is not the problem. He definitely has a major ego, but he has also earned it. Generation talent doesn't not equal success without elite coaching & construction (ie. failed attempts of Brooklyn, the Clippers, and the 76'ers). The problem is Jimmy wants to be paid full-time wages for part-time work, and Pat Riley isn't an idiot. Jimmy himself says that he ramps up in January and after the All-Star break and in the past few years, that has not been enough. Pat should be held responsible for not getting Jimmy help (outside of the sabotaged Dame trade and Jimmy wanting to play with his bff Lowry), but Jimmy is BS-ing himself into another bad ending. As a HEAT fan, I'm wishing we get rid of Jimmy asap. Bro is like a child throwing a tantrum when he doesn't get what he wants and his toxic comments this week show that we need to get him out of our lockerroom.
He is literally M.I.A during regular season and only show up a postseason.... Someone's gonna play the regular season for him to compete in the playoffs dude
lol my guy, jimmy didn’t make it anywhere without the heat. You’re telling me a scorer better than jimmy wouldn’t have done the same? All the heat needed was one star player and jimmy was that I guess, but he wasn’t consistent enough.
Every story has two sides, but at this point, Jimmy is like, 'Forget Them' because the Heat did it first. Say what you want against Jimmy, but everyone saw him as the heart and soul of that team, doing everything possible to help them win, and he stood on business. They don't get to the finals twice without him. Could you not give that man an extension when he, above all, deserved it? I applaud him for writing his ticket to get out end of the story.
He hasnt played games 😂 last year he was cheeks and this year hes been worse.. and he was talking bad about the team last year while not playing.. dude constantly wears out his welcome and wants more money? Get tyler and bam some help and get this diva outta there
I remember he did that press conference after they lost to the Spurs sneak dissing Bron and gave out personal information about Bron the world didn't know at the time
We pretending like Miami was winning after Lebron left and before Jimmy got there, we werent talking bout "Heat Culture" at this level before Jimmy got there
@@jeffcunningham0389nah g read first He said the level at which we speak of heat culture and actually regard it as something serious wasn’t a widely accepted belief until Jimmy got to show out and we saw a clear difference of what he was on other teams vs heat. Casuals weren’t on that understanding with Bron and the crew bc we were too focused on the trades, his star studded lineup, and his chip potential. Not to say people weren’t talking about the heat cultures advancements with Bron, people just didn’t widely believe it enough until Jimmy, around the time they formed the wall to stop Giannis.
You know nothing about the Miami heat then it’s been heat culture ever since Zo and Hardaway. Win with toughness and grit and hard work. It’s always been here ever since Riley has been here. So your pretending to know Heat Culture when you know nothing lol outsiders think we only were like this with Lebron and Jimmy. I like jimmy and all players that come here but I will always trust Pat. Cause it’s a business and Riley has to do what’s best for the organization and not a player who gets mad and wants to pout and use the media to put out his own narrative force a situation
Lotta shit talking here for a guy who carried them to two finals. Be a hardass all you want. Not gonna attract players. Edit: I’m just saying that Jimmy is/was the best player on your mediocre team. He’s always been a 2 option guy playing on a team that needs a one option. They never gave him any real help. If heat culture is not giving your star player any help and disrespecting him on the way out, then fuck that.
Carried my a**. He's NEVER carried anything. One series versus the Bucks. That's it. Check the numbers, pal. BTW, you ain't the only person I've had this argument with. Get ready.
Carry? I was told the Heat have the best coach in the NBA, DPOTY Candidate in Bam, and Herro who won 6MOTY and is now better than Jimmy. Didn't Jimmy burn out and had to be saved by the role players? Miami will attract players regardless, players will suit up in Utah if the money is right.
What did they want the Heat to give up to get him, plus Portland didn't want to work a trade with Miami. Stop jock swinging Jimmy... he's a diva with a cheap coffee for sale
are you a bot? wth were you going to do with Lillard? you’d have to trade away a young core for a old pg? you have to be a bot. Oh and clutch sports won’t send any of their players to the heat.
It’s wild because we’ve seen guys do worse and get less. Jimmy in that interview did everything right. He was honest. He wasn’t rude. He stated how he felt. Then he gets 7 games. That’s excessive.
@@CzarAice01 lmao you talk about crying but I don't see jimmy shedding no tears. I can tell someone like you allow people to walk all over you without you wanting to voice your "opinion" because yur afraid of being called something.
Recency bias is a helluva drug nowadays. Did we forget what butler did for the heat just 2 years ago: not too mention his whole tenure, with no team around him… because of Pat Riley!! Does he necessarily deserve the money at this age, idk probably not, but to claim he’s just some outright diva who hasn’t lifted up every team his been on, especially the heat, is ridiculous. A lot of people don’t know ball in here.
@@philb.15022019. 76ers were a kawhi shot away from a ecf appearance. That team could’ve won it all. I don’t even need to google search that. That’s just the most recent. Both can be true. But like they said he comes in does great for a few years then does this! 9 pts because he’s not feeling it on the basketball court. That’s not just Miami but your team mates and fans you throwing a middle finger to.
Fake narrative by the organization to spend a negative narrative to make him disgruntled employee and detrimental to the team? It's okay for the organization to leak information or speak negative about a player? But as soon as, a player speak openly about their feelings and thoughts to the public? It's detrimental to the team. He was being asked by a reporter during a post game interview a question. And he gave an honest statement. It wasn't like he couldn't attend nor make himself available to the reporters to answer their questions. Because if he did that? He would have been fine for non complying with the NBA rules to make himself available to the media. Yes, he could have dodged the question or gave a fake response to the question. But he preferred to give them his honest feelings about the situation. And now people want to tell him to be quiet and shut up and dribble the basketball. Yes, he's fortunate to play professional basketball and make a lot of money in the process. But the same rules needs to be applied to the organization for not being able to say negative things about the player openly to the media. It's unfortunate that management and organizations and coaches can speak negatively of a player. But as soon as a player says something negative or expressed dissatisfaction of an organization? Then they want to label him disgruntled or a problem. But it's not the team, management or organizations that is the problem!?? And before anyone comments don't give me the nonsense that he is supposed to remain professional. However, others don't have to be professional nor be held at a higher standards themselves!!! It's funny! That people can give their opinions and say what they want to say!! But as soon as the employee/player speak up for himself and expressed his frustration and dissatisfaction with the company? Then that individual is the only one that has to remain professional. While others can slander or make false narrative about your character as a individual and a players. But you can't speak up for yourself!! And just like players/employees should be held at a certain standards. So should the organization and/or management should be held at even a higher standards!!!
Says Jimmy take things too personal and can’t let things roll off his back. Well when the owner calls you at in a press conference and tell you to shut up. You best believe that a grown man will not be okay with that. Could have done it behind close doors but Pat choose to do in an unprofessional way. What Jimmy Butler said is true, he has been carrying the Heat on his back without any other great player. Carry them to 2 finals by himself especially when they didn’t have Tyler Herro in postseason of 2023. Pat Riley acts like he did anything good without superstars to carry his franchise. Get rid of Jimmy Butler and Miami Heat going to be out of the playoffs plus irrelevant! Just like how they were before Jimmy Butler came along. Lol 😂
Yea you’re definitely not someone that actually watches the miami heat. In the first finals run Goran Dragic was the heats best offensive player and leading scorer. Then got hurt in the finals. In the 2nd run butler was carried in rounds 2 and 3 since he got hurt and everyone believed Caleb Martin deserved the ECF mvp award. Butler was then trash in the finals against Denver.
@ Oh… i definitely watch them play alright. So yeah “Playoff Jimmy” didn’t do anything and got carried to the finals. Lol laughable like anyone is going to believe that. Dragic was good but sorry you are mistaken Jimmy Butler was the main player for the Heat in the 2020 run. Caleb Martin has was a good role player but no way a guy who avg 12 points and 5 rebs is going to win ECF MvP award. He did play well in the Boston series but Butler play better overall!
Let's see what's the next team Jimmy Butler will bring to the playoffs 😤 sixers went to ECF with Butler, wolves went to 1st round with Butler after many years and 2 Finals, 3 ECF in Miami for 5years
Yeah maybe if he wants to play hard and find his joy back if not you’ll be getting what Miami is getting from him this year absolutely NOTHING!!! See these dudes don’t even play hard but want all the extensions and benefits of a superstar without actually performing.
Riley went from we're not trading Butler to we're listening to all offers. That was fast! Butler must have pulled a George Costanza when he was trying to get fired from the New York Yankees 😂😂😂
Dont expect to see anymore star players go to miami to play for pat....... Miami did lebron, wade and now jimmy who took them bums to 2 nba finals dirty......
Miami didn't do Bron dirty tf are you talking bout? Bron played his contract out and moved on. I'm nowhere near a Bron fan, Jordan will always be the GOAT, but I will give Bron credit where it's due. When he signs his name on a contract he will fulfill it.
@grandtheftaudio6386 lebron told that bum, pat to keep Mike Miller and a few of them role players on the miami heat team, pat decided not too because he was being cheap.......even though the reason why lebron came to Miami because him wade and BOSH were willing to take less money so that the heat can continue to keep legitimate pieces around him........ lebron and the heat gets manhandled in 4 or 5 games to San Antonio spurs, and lebron leaves without even saying goodbye........ Even after pat taunted him In a press conference right after they lost the nba finals claiming you can't win all the time, just comeback and we will revamp the team...michael jordan wouldnt act this way......lol Let's not forget about what pat did to wade, basically told wade to take less money, and he was gonna reimburse him in the future, wade took the less money, he overpaid BOSH, and than when it was time to reimburse wade he dissed him, and wade left to play for Chicago...... Now you got jimmy, carrying a bunch of bums on his roster to 2 nba final appearance and was a shot away against boston from carrying them to a third, never improving the team or getting jimmy another all star to play with, and now treating jimmy like he's a role player...... Pat Riley has a history of being a scumbag and don't expect any stars to play for miami as long as he is still there
Lets be honest, Pat Riley did a DWade to Jimmy Butler. Jimmy wants an extension, but Pat dont want to give him as Butler is already 35 years old. If im a superstar/all star free agent, i will never sign to Miami. Miami organization is like Boston when it comes to how they treat players.
I used to respect the hell out of jimmy. He used to put my Celtics in jeopardy every year for a while there. But Zeke is absolutely right about him quitting in his teammates, it’s disgraceful
This is all Pat’s fault. He never takes accountability for what he does. He talks and says sly stuff to turn people away. He did it to Lebron and D Wade the goat of that organization. Pat made this bed because without Jimmy they heat don’t even sniff the finals but hey they will learn 🤷🏾♂️
@ and that says nothing to the point I made. Like let’s be fr he sucks as an executive he was gifted the best player and the league and fucked it up to where he went bk to Cleveland. He pushed out his homegrown star because of his ego. He gets another high level player that drags his team to the finals and he fails to put talent around him then talks shit. He sucks as an executive. So since he has all those rings it clearly didn’t teach him how to keep a team together did it 🤦🏾♂️
Pat runs the organization and isn't going to be bullied by players, rightfully so. Wade, similar to Butler, wanted the money and Bron wanted his homies running the show. Nah, not in Miami!
@ running an organization is fine but letting your ego ruin your organization is another thing Pat it literally the nba equivalent to Jerry Jones from the nfl. Bron didn’t want his homies running the show he wanted respect same as D Wade sand as Jimmy now Pat’s ego won’t let him do what needs to be done to keep his stars which is why Miami won’t win
"We have NO PLANS of taking action against Jimmy" Jimmy gets suspended!!! "We have NO PLANS on trading you" Suspect gets traded! "We have NO PLANS on firing our coach" Suspect gets fired! Anytime they say they're NOT doing something in the NBA, you can bet your ass they're doing it🙄🙄
💁🏽♂️ yes Jimmy do it on every team, but let’s not act like PatRiley’s innocent when it come 2 driving star players away = he even did it 2 D-Wade + Zo; let’s not 4get Shaq + Bron Both Pat+Jimmy have huge egos so they can no longer coexist
Lets be honest, Miami was very good at drafting and hitting on undrafted free agents. But they were not very good at surrounding Jimmy with established veterans and getting him a another superstar to pair with. Those teams that went to the finals overachieved. For what he gave them he deserved more, and after a while you just get tired. So while this "Jimmy does this everywhere he goes" narrative isn't completely wrong...just remember the context.
THANK YOU!!! People miss the point because he tried to discipline young players in Chicago, push KAT & Wiggins pissing around doing the bare minimum in the Timberwolves, dealt with an up himself Ben Simmons & out of touch coach for 76ers in Brett Brown who wasted years with the talent he had at the time & management pushed Jimmy out. Jimmy came into Miami in 2019/2020 and took this really young team to the Finals in his first year, and did it again with a better group in 2023 as the 8th seed knocking of a prime Bucks team, a prime Celtics team in the rematch conference finals before losing the chip to the Nuggets. All he wanted was help from at least a star or another all star besides Bam. He did most of the work, and almost passed out doing Allen Iverson minutes at the playoffs - he was patient until a star joined the team, but Heat management didnt do that and kept finding potential steals & dark horses (Max Strus, Gabe Vincent, Caleb Martin etc.) He lost his father which we can all agree is a tough loss personally, and during that time with the same mid players and no major stars to help carry, they kept blaming Jimmy expecting more & more when they're not even meeting half way. That narrative everyone is clickbating and following is just wrong!! Jimmy proved himself big time
@@slick6699 That's the point - he did everything and for years they didnt recruit anyone and relied on him to make it work when they overworked him sooo much in the playoffs - he literally almost passed out in 2020 and 2023 for playing heavy minutes. Everyone claiming he's washed but he plays heavy minutes with no help - but the real reason is because Pat Riley is an old school head that doesnt like to be challenged. Expecting same NBA Finals after overworking Jimmy and losing his father - gotta out it in perspective bro!!!!!!
Actually he did the same with Bron when Bron thought he could run the Heat organization like the rest of the teams he’s played for Riley said hell to the know see ya King lol

Everyone mad at Jimmy but the NBA is a business. Again it’s a business. When you’re upset with your Boss and the Boss doesn’t wanna give you a raise or whatever, then basically the organization/company is saying to find someone else to pay you and you’re saying I’ll be looking for another company
I feel nothing for the heat. They haven’t provided him with any good players. Also the nerve of Sam Mitchell to say anything when he’s been body slammed by Vince Carter and gave the address of a colleague on air. Bruh shut up
Ngl this is a message to the nba in general. Some Players in the nba don’t love the game like they used too, they see the money and that’s it. No more competition, no more hard work, no more determination! It’s sad to see!
That’s the objective when you grind from chap to draft day get the bag. That’s always the goal. The Bag. I never heard a kid say I want to be an nba champion. But I’ve heard plenty say I want to be a professional athlete though. That’s the goal
Right a guy that took a bunch of undrafted players to the freaking finals don’t love the game, don’t have hard work, don’t compete and no determination? Man shut up
You can't be talking about Jimmy, Jeff Teague was on the wolves team when Jimmy took a bunch of g league players and spanked everyone, the nba is soft now and guys like Jimmy, cousins and others are considered problems now, not one teammate has ever said anything bad about him
I like Jimmy but he was too busy doing Gimmick Looks and Antics with hair and piercings instead of taking the game serious to lead. Feel like he was trying to get endorsements and other things showing off once he got in that Miami Fast Life just like players do in Hollywood once they play for the Lakers.
This is both true, and something I dont exactly understand. How many players worse than Jimmy get max contracts. He is a diva, but as far as results go, he has gotten them at a better rate than almost anyone else. I really like guys like Jimmy and Jrue Holiday, who do all the things that help you win and am disappointed when guys like Jordan Pool get better contacts than them.
@freshone274 The original poster's statement is true(thing one) And something I dont understand (thing two). The word both is referencing those two things. The sentence works without it, but it was added for the emphasis that I believe the statement is both correct and wrong at the same time (correct in that it will come to pass, and wrong in that I think his value added as more than most max contract players). That all being said, I checked salaries right after posting and saw that he is a top 12 paid player right now which stunned me a little with the Wolves paying Wiggins over him and Philly choosing Tobias Harris over him. I knew he got paid I Miami, but thought it was not much less than he actually did.
Jimmy is the winner here. He will be moved to a team that will not give out much value for him, so likely a better team He gets to chill He gets a higher chance of getting the extension he wants in the new team
Not being 35 he isn't. Maybe the Clippers. They throw money away regularly. And Kawhi is about done. Utah?? Nets or New Orleans? No max extension, though. Just a rental to prove he still can play at a high level...nothing more
You think that team won’t decline that 52 mil option he has. I don’t care where he goes he shouldn’t get that just based off his ability he last couple years. He’s going to F himself if he keeps this up.
My opinion is Mr J Butler has done this several times before. So, regardless if Mr Riley is a root cause of Mr Butler’s antics in Miami he has done this before. He has quit on teammates before. Good luck and God bless.
These teams are mind boggling....so Riley knew he wasn't going to resign him since last year yet they hesitated on trading him. Now you suspend him???? They also didn't get Butler any help!
@edgarochoa3122 when did I ever say he shouldn't do his job???? Comments on social media should not change the trajectory of your life. When I see something I disagree with it, I ignore!
Ah, my fond memories of Jimmy destroying the Timberwolves. "Butler is out tonight - General Soreness." Is General Soreness a colloquialism for pain in the ass? 😂
Sam Mitchell said that Jimmy does this every three or four years? An abject lie. He really hasn't. He wanted to be the man in Chicago but they jerked him around and after SIX seasons he was moved. Minny was soft and that's very evident. Philly still is soft and Jimmy wasn't traded; he didn't want to sign with them in free agency. Since then, he has spent a good long time in Miami and nearly lead them to a bubble championship. Let's not revive the whole 'Jimmy is a diva' nonsense because that's been bull from the get go.
He literally threw a tantrum in minnesota and chicago. When philly turns you down you know something's wrong with that player, they love giving cash to anybody
@@edgarochoa3122 See, people like you are the problem. "He literally threw" no, he did not. That's a lie. And then people hear you spout nonsense and they just jump on it because it sounds good. You're wrong, period. And you don't know what 'literally' means. And what does 'when Philly turns you down' mean? That franchise is some great organization? How many championships have they won?
Butler going to Denver would be a juggernaut out of the West against Boston for a Finals competition. It technically gives Boston a match to truly prepare for and meet obstacle during game scenario.😎
He literally dragged the heat to the finals twice, Riley got him no help in the past 2 offseasons so no wonder he's mad, the team isn't in contention to win which is what he wants on top of not getting the extension. Also rich that Isaiah talks about trust the way he damaged the raptors
In the first finals run Goran Dragic was heats leading scorer until he got hurt in the finals. In the 2nd run he had a great first round and then had a mediocre next 2 rounds and it was caleb martin, bam, gabe Vincent and max struss that carried him
Coach dude is a joke R we really gonna pretend jimmy didnt take minasota the furthest in the playoffs in that time and the onlyvreason he wanted out was cause kat & Wiggins were not pulling they weight & he wanted them to be held accountable office made it clear it was kat team jimmy said im out period and we all know he was the 2nd if Not best player on the 76er's but they rather gave the max to Tobias harris so he said yet again IM OUT like come on ppl 😒
@shmizzleshmazzle9830 yes he did not want to be there but I'm not gonna get comfortable and stay somewhere where it's OK to be lazy(kat&wiggins)and when I speak on it management tells me quite this ain't your team this kats team yeah I'm out that just added more fuel to the fire
both sides wrong. heat refused to add any good / new players , coach spo struggling to coach a team with no bigs, jimmy NEVER AVAILABLE always missing games but wants an extension.... like come on man both sides wrong. jimmy is also to blame for kyle lowry. he wanted his friend here, pat got him for jimmy and they still couldnt win it, and not only that but lowerys contract was terriible which hurt us. we also paying jimmy 48 million in a state with no state taxes. both sides wrong but, if jimmy actually played in the regular season then i dont think this situation is even a topic.
The Heat did their best to get Dame, Mitchell or Beal. They didn't have the trade bait or cap space. But it wasn't for lack of trying. Getting a contract enxtension at his age and injury history is a challenge. Worse, when he's out of the active roster for the playoffs, he throws jabs at the opponents. Don't lose perspective.
35 years old is really up there, plus he was missing games. Why not just finish out the contract? What is so bad you can't finish your contract. Guys finish and leave for another team all the time if the present team doesn't want to pay. When you are aging it gets tougher.
Ive been said this about Jimmy Butler for how good he's / unavailable / his personality this is gonna happen almost everywhere he goes unless its a perfect situation. Ive heard quite a few stories about Jimmy Butler from IRL interactions with him whilst he was in Chicago especially during the years Butler was the best player that he was a really unfriendly / not willing to take pictures with fans. Sure it happens with every player but Ive heard about 5-10 stories about this online which makes me think its not a one off thing or fans just making stuff up.
I'm not quitting on my teammate. I'm quitting on the front office..... I hate when they try to mix contract, negotiations, and team/sportsmanship... Pat Riley was not entertain entertaining Jimmy at all... so what can you do force your way out duh
You're absolutely right. The double standard is glaring. When team owners trade or move players for financial reasons, it's often seen as just part of the business. But when players make similar decisions-whether for better contracts, career opportunities, or personal reasons-they can be criticized, labeled as "disloyal" or "troublemakers." First of all, jimmy is 35 years old on his way out of the league.
Been saying this for a while… and I’m a Heat fan
instead of giving dwyane wade his money he instead gave it to hassan whiteside, tyler johnson, dion waiters, duncan robinson bro needs to retire but he so stubborn he rather die at his desk than ever just let go of his pride and ego if we would’ve gotten any other star like kyrie, dmitch, harden , dame and just some decent role players we would’ve had a chip by now
Pat is not the problem.

"We have NO PLANS on trading you"
Suspect gets traded!
"We have NO PLANS on firing our coach"
Suspect gets fired!
Anytime they say they're NOT doing something in the NBA, you can bet your ass they're doing it🙄🙄
💁🏽♂️ yes Jimmy do it on
every team, but let’s
not act like PatRiley’s
innocent when it come
2 driving star players
away = he even did it
2 D-Wade + Zo; let’s
not 4get Shaq + Bron
Both Pat+Jimmy have
huge egos so they can
no longer coexist
He did most of the work, and almost passed out doing Allen Iverson minutes at the playoffs - he was patient until a star joined the team, but Heat management didnt do that and kept finding potential steals & dark horses (Max Strus, Gabe Vincent, Caleb Martin etc.)
He lost his father which we can all agree is a tough loss personally, and during that time with the same mid players and no major stars to help carry, they kept blaming Jimmy expecting more & more when they're not even meeting half way.
That narrative everyone is clickbating and following is just wrong!! Jimmy proved himself big time
They would have given him a max but he is washed now. He always gets injured and doesn't take things seriously anymore
Why would Jimmy Butler be angry at Pat Riley? He did the same thing to D Wade he should’ve known better.
Exactly! But it was Wade that brought him here lol.
Least wade won
Actually he did the same with Bron when Bron thought he could run the Heat organization like the rest of the teams he’s played for Riley said hell to the know see ya King lol
@blakmagikk lebron was leaving anyway he just stacks team and wade was injured so this a lie lebron a diva quit on multiple teams just like Jimmy
@ I didn’t say he quit, I said he tried to run things like he has done in other organizations in the past, and PR was having none of that.
He ain't quit on his teammates. The organization will ship yo ass off and don't give af about you and your teammates
You don't tell a grown man to keep his mouth shut
That grown man, works for an organization, not himself. He should let his play talk, along with his teammates, and keep quiet.
@JayCity10 As a man, i wouldn't allow anyone to talk to me like that
Took this sorry Heat team to the Finals twice, and is treated like this. Never got this man any help... Good luck being relevant again...
Sorry heat team??? You come straight out of a comic book. Everybody was loving the heat and scared to see this heat TEAM not long ago now Butler is the one that did everything? Y’all some funny fans man
Treated like WHAT HE GET 52 million a year !!!!!!!!! NO TAXES
@@samonajackson4083I’m a heat fan and I agree with you !!! Straight up he’s getting 50 M’s a year play more and you will get an extension Simple. Pat let go dwade you think he give a flying f about Jimbo 😂😂😂
Miami will always be relevant lol
@@jeffcunningham0389 name 3 players on the heat besides bam, butler and herro.. I’ll wait
Shams was right all along
sam sounding how his drunk ass look
Everyone mad at Jimmy but the NBA is a business. Again it’s a business. When you’re upset with your Boss and the Boss doesn’t wanna give you a raise or whatever, then basically the organization/company is saying to find someone else to pay you and you’re saying I’ll be looking for another company
Sam Mitchell kettle calling the pot black lol he dont let nothing slide theeaten his co host like the mafia lol
I feel nothing for the heat. They haven’t provided him with any good players. Also the nerve of Sam Mitchell to say anything when he’s been body slammed by Vince Carter and gave the address of a colleague on air. Bruh shut up
They have two all stars around him wtf are you talking about 😂
Ngl this is a message to the nba in general.
I don't trust anything Isaiah Thomas says Jimmy Butler quit on his teammates unacceptable
When this guy Jimmy gon realize NOBODY is giving him a Max Contract 🤣🤣🤣
This is both true, and something I dont exactly understand. How many players worse than Jimmy get max contracts. He is a diva, but as far as results go, he has gotten them at a better rate than almost anyone else.
I really like guys like Jimmy and Jrue Holiday, who do all the things that help you win and am disappointed when guys like Jordan Pool get better contacts than them.
@@nichodemus10Both true? Bro only made one point. What are these two things that are true? Elaborate you foul fiend (SpongeBob reference).
Jimmy hasn't been healthy for the last two seasons, I love Jimmy but I don't think he will get the max anywhere.
Jimmy is the winner here.
He will be moved to a team that will not give out much value for him, so likely a better team
He gets to chill
He gets a higher chance of getting the extension he wants in the new team
Not being 35 he isn't. Maybe the Clippers. They throw money away regularly. And Kawhi is about done. Utah?? Nets or New Orleans? No max extension, though. Just a rental to prove he still can play at a high level...nothing more
You think that team won’t decline that 52 mil option he has. I don’t care where he goes he shouldn’t get that just based off his ability he last couple years. He’s going to F himself if he keeps this up.
imagine winning in life by acting like a petulant child. jimmy will get 0 rings and his legacy will be that he was a huge baby
Lmao delusion at its finest
@@blakmagikk its a player option. He’s most definitely gonna opt in
7 games!? for not wanting to play for your team anymore!???? wow riley is a control freak weirdooooo
Um are YOU serious? You dont think quitting on your team is suspension worthy? Are u delusional?
@@jeffcunningham0389these guys are jocks sniffers. Theyre paying him 50 mil to play
@ are you delusional it’s happened to Shaq Wade now Jimmy no loyalty to the players only the team goofball go eat your hummus
This is a crazy idea, how about the player plays out the contract he signed..? Ya know, do his job like a regular grown up?
@edgarochoa3122 when did I ever say he shouldn't do his job???? Comments on social media should not change the trajectory of your life. When I see something I disagree with it, I ignore!
Idc Im on Jimmy’s side
We dont care either
Ah, my fond memories of Jimmy destroying the Timberwolves. "Butler is out tonight - General Soreness." Is General Soreness a colloquialism for pain in the ass? 😂
👏🏼🤣👏🏼
ZEKE. IS MY CHILDHOOD. I LUV U BROTHER. 2025❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Butler going to Denver would be a juggernaut out of the West against Boston for a Finals competition. It technically gives Boston a match to truly prepare for and meet obstacle during game scenario.😎
Seeing what Jokic was able to do with a guy like Westbrook makes you really wonder just how good butler and jokic would be together
He literally dragged the heat to the finals twice, Riley got him no help in the past 2 offseasons so no wonder he's mad, the team isn't in contention to win which is what he wants on top of not getting the extension. Also rich that Isaiah talks about trust the way he damaged the raptors
Did he literally drag them, or do you not know what the word literally means?
In the first finals run Goran Dragic was heats leading scorer until he got hurt in the finals. In the 2nd run he had a great first round and then had a mediocre next 2 rounds and it was caleb martin, bam, gabe Vincent and max struss that carried him
@@jeffcunningham0389This is some absolute historical revisionist nonsense lol
Butler, “forget” Miami. Go somewhere better.
Amen. And I'm a looong Heat fan.
Pat being pat. Trying to act tough but now he's losing even more leverage when trying to trade with other teams. Dummy
Losing what? 35 year old jimmy?
Trust, pat riley is gonna be okay lol hes got 9 rings.
Sam Mitchell was glad he had a job when he played, of course he couldn't understand what superstar players feel
Pat Riley is the problem. He ran off LeBron and Wade! 😫😫
“Forget you” Lol Zeke is funny! 😂
When he was winning, everyone loves him. Now he old , dirt from past battles is scattered around him.
You either retire or move on. That's it .
Coach dude is a joke R we really gonna pretend jimmy didnt take minasota the furthest in the playoffs in that time and the onlyvreason he wanted out was cause kat & Wiggins were not pulling they weight & he wanted them to be held accountable office made it clear it was kat team jimmy said im out period and we all know he was the 2nd if Not best player on the 76er's but they rather gave the max to Tobias harris so he said yet again IM OUT like come on ppl 😒
jimmy did not want to be in mn from the jump and refused to be a leader
@shmizzleshmazzle9830 yes he did not want to be there but I'm not gonna get comfortable and stay somewhere where it's OK to be lazy(kat&wiggins)and when I speak on it management tells me quite this ain't your team this kats team yeah I'm out that just added more fuel to the fire
Hold up this guy talking shit you put your co-worker address on TV
Right lol.
both sides wrong. heat refused to add any good / new players , coach spo struggling to coach a team with no bigs, jimmy NEVER AVAILABLE always missing games but wants an extension.... like come on man both sides wrong. jimmy is also to blame for kyle lowry. he wanted his friend here, pat got him for jimmy and they still couldnt win it, and not only that but lowerys contract was terriible which hurt us. we also paying jimmy 48 million in a state with no state taxes. both sides wrong but, if jimmy actually played in the regular season then i dont think this situation is even a topic.
Pat Riley need to retire. He be running GOAT players out of town over his inflated Ego…
He's setting up many businesses that'll take care of his income without basketball. So he takes the risk. But one way or another...F the Heat!
Come back to Chicago. We need a small forward.
35 years old is really up there, plus he was missing games. Why not just finish out the contract? What is so bad you can't finish your contract. Guys finish and leave for another team all the time if the present team doesn't want to pay. When you are aging it gets tougher.
Cause he knows other teams wont have his bird rights or will give him max. He needed riley to extend him
Imagine not being happy with 52m. I swear comparison is the theif of joy
Sometimes you have to put yourself first! Fuck this team this is a job at the end of the day.
Jimmy being Jimmy. Does this to all teams that he been to.
As Pat does this to every player.
Pat is being Pat, he did this to Wade, Shaq and pushed Lebron away.
@@thelongnguyens lebron tried to get Spo fried and that did not happen, he left

Sam Mitchell - the man who refused to draw-up a double team on Kobe during his 81pt night,
Simply, Jimmy Butler is soo full of himself and just another sour grape as he ages
Not a good look for Miami.
Exactly!
Pat Riley is tripping.
Nope. Franchise comes first
You're absolutely right. The double standard is glaring. When team owners trade or move players for financial reasons, it's often seen as just part of the business. But when players make similar decisions-whether for better contracts, career opportunities, or personal reasons-they can be criticized, labeled as "disloyal" or "troublemakers." It reflects a broader imbalance in how players' autonomy is perceived compared to team owners' power. It's an interesting point about how narratives are shaped based on who's making the move.
This BS breakdown coming from Isiah, who for years chose to blame MJ for the Dream Team snub. Knowing full well it was Magic. Why tarnish Magic, right Isiah?
Jimmy Butler made "heat culture" by over performing with a sub par roster. No one has done more with less since 2007 Lebron. The disrespect from Pat Riley is genuinely pathetic.
Heat without Butler, it just like cellphone without internet.😂
