Lovely paint color and awesome transformation! I especially like the tonal atmosphere you created. I got two extra large Carrara marble cutting boards from Next and used them as bedside table tops until I find the perfect marble top for my room. I’d perhaps add a faux frame for the beautiful tapestry with command strips and paint a tad darker than the wall color. I’d probably get some linen fabric in a very similar color to the walls with subtle navy blue stripes (to echo that in the tapestry) and use as pleated curtains for the wardrobe doors, using adhesive ironing fabric tape, elastic bands and small and thin push pins on each side. Keep the good work! Looking forward to more transformations!
Great job, love the DIY pelmet. I love those kind of low tech, low cost improvement ideas. If you don’t like it, or want to change it up eventually, it’s no big deal. Also like tge wall hanging.

I have to tell you though being an artist I want to run around your home and put up bright paintings in pink purple, yellow and red. I’m a little mad that way if I see plain walls, I go insane, there are people that are minimalist I am a maximalist. I love what you’re doing to your new apartment. I hope you don’t mind my saying that you don’t look stressed it’s just that you’re so good-looking. You’re so confident you’re so successful. You’re so young I know people were like what does he have to be stressed about that I was like that myself when I was your age, I was living in Hollywood trying to be an actor people tell me you’re good looking all your talented and I would be going through depression and trying to deal with life. Sending you my love and blessings for the rest of the year my friend.

Apologies for asking about a building question not the decorating... I've never seen doors hung with three hinges but they're not equally spaced. Is this 2 near the top of the door hinges, unique to this builder? or a new trend in the UK? I don't think I've ever seen this here in the US nor have I ever noticed it before in a UK property. BTW, The room looks gorgeous! Thanks for bringing us along.
Very nicely done. Comfortable, tasteful, calming. Only question is WHY so many lamps? Two sconces each side of the bed, plus table lamps, plus matching table lamps across the room. Plaid pillow cover looks out of place.
I love the colour of the walls and the curtain and I hope to find it in Canada, however, I have never been a fan of plaid or stripes. It gives me a headache whenever I sleep in plaid sheets.

I really do agree on this one, really overkill on lamps, but we all differ in taste and as long as Toby and Mikey like it, that is all that matters.
I absolutely love lamps, and love the different light sources they give out. I'm all about cosy, and this just works for us! x
