What in inspirational film and business ethos and such a fantastic showcase of beautiful reclaimed materials too. I love the concept of showing the value in things and how they are made by looking at things differently. This storytelling is so powerful to explain the ethic behind a company too…it really speaks to the soul with a rich tapestry of meaning, that feels like a real counter the sterility of modern living. Beautiful. I would love to visit Provision and tell friends about this wonderful company. Particularly maker friends.
I loved everything about this video. The filming, the aesthetic, the sincere story telling and the modern wisdom woven into the story. I love daily ritual and community being emphasised as key aspects of humanity that we have lost and should get back to. I really want to go there and experience provision and get myself and my family one of those timeless classics. The ceramics look stunning.
Wouldn’t it be great if every community valued their makers and customers in this way. Each object within the space has been considered and is loved, and will go on to be treasured by their new owners. You have really captured the unique atmosphere of this place and I love it.
I think he should look into some military surplus, ideally things like Romanian gas mask bags, and Danish ABC bags, they have an old school look and gives new life to surplus as everyday carry bags.
