I sat in an Advance package today at dealership and it was really nice. Feels solid and premium inside. If its also a performer then Acura hit this one out of the park.

The Acura Integra is one of the most enjoyable cars to drive. They had the formula back in the 90’s. light weight, sporty, ergonomic, simple. That car still holds the test of time and is a modern day classic

The engine noise is fake and piped in. The more aggressive you set the handling, the louder it gets. I think Acura did it to disguise the unpleasant 4-banger sound!

I got my TLX Aspec v6 with SHAWD ( 2020) for 550$ a month on 48m lease, a comparable and similarly speced BMW 330i or Audi A4 would have been 800-900$. I did test drive 330i and A4 and in all honestly found them superior to TLX but not for 2x price. I think that was the winning ticket for Acura: value. Unfortunately it is not the case anymore. New TLX is almost as expensive as 330i and A4 which makes no sense. Everyone can test drive them and see for themselves German options are much better choices for the same money. Don't give me wrong, I love my TLX but it is because I am paying almost half of a German turbo4 for a V6 naturally aspirated with a sophisticated AWD. Then again for same price I would go German because of their superior performance, handling, luxury and badge prestige.

Hey Ron! This is a great find to see you here, big brother! I love the setting around beautiful LA county, and this car is so freakin' sweet, I think. Man, I miss LA. I lived out in Cali after college, but I am a native New Yorker and back in NYC now-in-Brooklyn-but LA will always hold a special place in my heart, man. And seeing how I am a total high tubesocks and floppy DC sneaker wearing perpetual JV baseball guy, it always shows in my style LOL :). But man-I dig this car. Dig the looks and she has some sweet curves, especially from out back. I like the engine noise, but I'm a bit of a boy racer guy. I could hear the tires chirping, doe-so I imagine some summer tires would help with that, huh? I guess Acura wants to skate that mid-line between sport and luxury, but so good to see them back to making proper Japanese sport sedans. :) JV Johnny

The horsepower and torque numbers are better than the competition but real world performance does not prove this. The Germans, like usual, underrate their horsepower quite a bit. This TLX is not faster than its competition. You can tell just by driving the 330i, A4. If you can compare this to the Alfa Romeo Giulia, then this definitely falls short in terms of performance.
I really like the interior design though. Looks super nice. I'd be excited to see other colors aside from black, but even the black looks super nice.

Even the Honda Accord 2.0 touring is a much better value, in all senses, than that unreliable Audi.
The TLX plays better with the A6 or 5 series, not just in size but in all aspects.
