You're missing the point, behind the money, behind the power, behind the status, he's still just a father that lost his son, and a husband that lost his wife.

@@thegreatape884 and so were the people who were killed by someone in the family. Some people are only capable of feelings when it's related to themselves and have no ability to be empatheticand understanding of others ability to be in pain. They didn't have remorse when they meddled in investigations to protect their sons so its a little hard to sympathize. But an eye for an eye is never the answer.

This is home to me. Happened minutes from me. Familiar with all the families. The Murdaughs have been wronging people for years. Little Paul had an alter ego, named "Timmy" a violent/crazy version of himself that would come out when he was drunk. He would strip down to his boxers and start being abusive and vulgar. For years, they have gotten away with horrible things. And YES, they ABSOLUTELY have many enemies. Regardless, murder is tragic. I feel certain it's going to come out, that the family had something to do with Smith's murder..like the housekeeper's. Such a terrible situation all around. Many families lives ruined...hope they each get the justice they deserve.

Do you think they found the tool or the Toyota that had the blue paint they tested from the 2015 murder? They are being cryptic about it, but I think they know Paul killed his mom, but because there are so many murders attributed the Paul, they are going to try the dad because he covered them up? Also, Buster bought the alcohol for the kids on the boat, so there could be charges for that as well. The chatter is that Paul got mad and killed his mom with the shotgun and then used the handgun to kill himself when he realized what he did. That is karma as the dad covered up his crimes for years. he is connected to three deaths even before the boat wreck.

I think the husband did it. He would never be found out or suspected, after all, he protected his son that was driving the boat, but who knows, maybe that kid was wife's favorite and so he got rid of both, nice tidy insurance money collection and his wife gone and his one son that because a "pain in the ass" are both taken care of and no one the wiser. Strange that he is the one that found them too, so where was he before that? Were they expecting the Dad.. a lot not answered.

Why don't they interview the Dr & officer fired.
Something definitely is off. I'm sure as prosecutors there were some bad feelings amongst members of the community esp having representation in court that " normal folks" could never afford. I'm sure that ruffled some feathers & brought up a very bad memory for someone that wanted 2 price that the Murdaugh money & influence wasn't gonna save them this time
