This is such an affordable way to keep golfing through those cold winter months. Garmin R10 gives you great information on swing speed, ball speed, carry distance, etc.
My exact setup with the exception my ceilings aren't high enough in my garage to hit driver and that I actually do have the projector screen and projector. Still haven't had time to set it all up and test it out yet, but that is coming soon one of these weekends when I get a few hours to play with it. Hoping that I can get all the setup down to enough of a science that i can actually take it over to one side of the house that has good tree coverage and see how it works over there. If it's dark enough to allow the projector to work out pretty well, then boom...outdoor sim. If not, may just do what you guys did and use a lightweight 32 inch TV connected to Ipad instead.
Nice! Enjoy. My garage does not have the height clearance either 😞 so I travel to my buddy’s and set it up with him. But we are able to set everything up within minutes and start playing.
@@dub-golf I would set up outside, but I would need tarps on the side for possible foul balls. I have about 20ft wide then a brick fence on one side, and on the other is my one story house. The net would be planced in front of the brick wall fence too at the end. I have a window that I Imagine I could put a monitor inside the house and I could take a glance in throuth the window. The difficulty lies in when using i may make some hooks for a temporary tarp to go from the house to the fence as in a lien to tent. Or, make a tunnel type net structure to fully enclose the area. I'm short so I'm currently hitting into a foam thing inside the house. I have a standard low ceiling I think they are 8 ft 6 inches.
@Frank020 I have 8ft 6 inches in my garage (not in video) can hit my short irons… uncomfortably. Sounds like tarps or side shank nets!! Definitely scary hitting into nets when structures are around.
@@dub-golf hi thanks. Yeah short term I've been hitting driver into wall inside and a foam matt..I'm barefoot and I pre swing. I scraped very few times. Like when I let go completely at the follow through with one arm which isnt right anyway. Granted I'm learning, and Im on carpeting. I also found chocking up at the range is helping like 1.5 inches. I'm not going banzai anywhere yet. Lol
When I use the Garmin outside it does well on top of the case. When we use indoor. We did remove it from the case and just put on the cement. I’ve seen many videos where people put it on top of the case or people put it directly on the ground.

I DEFINITELY have to do this with my friends!!
Thanks for a good honest review !! 👍

Thanks for the simple video - looking at this exact setup
What about chips or sandwedge shots? Does the net capture them?
Yes. This net comes with additional sides too (not posted in video). Where we are hitting into the net, 8 ft into net, it captures all of our wedges!
Did you guys keep the Garmin on the top of the case the whole time?

How do you putt?
Software we are using, E6, auto putts out.
does it connect too a droid phone?
Yes it does.
Does the mat move around any?
The mat did not move one bit on that cement surface.
Usually mats like that will move just a tad. But on that surface, it basically stuck to it.
Can you putt with a Garmin R10?
No putting w the Garmin.
I have an HD tv, projector and a screen. Everything but a Garmin R10. Planning on buying one and selling my Voice Caddie. I then should be ready.
Nice! Enjoy, it’s a fun setup!
For me, this will be the only way to play in Summer months. 90+ degree heat is no fun.
Wow, we are the total opposite in Northeast Ohio - December to start of March we are grinding indoors lol
