Excellent running session! I really enjoy seeing regional or obscure railroads running - it’s a nice break from always watching the big famous Class A roads.
A lot of great locomotives! I really like the B&O President Washington and The H3. Those woodsided coaches are also very nice, especially the chapel car. Well done on the custom caboose RJ! - Ryan
Well, I saw the notification and said "Wow! That nice young Mister R.J.'s got a new video out! Christmas came early!" And it was worth the wait, although I think the guy in that Penn Central video clip could have shown just a BIT more enthusiasm, don't you? 😂 Some great finds RJ! I just love that LIRR 2-8-0! An absolutely charming example of late 19th Century steam and I'm always a sucker for 19th Century steam! That B&O "President Washington" is a stunner and so's that RF&P Berkshire. You know, since steam era RF&P cabooses are impossible to find in O Gauge I made my own as well! And don't worry about it being "perfect," neither were the originals in the steam era. The RF&P typically grabbed any old caboose, slapped a coat of paint on it with the RF&P herald and turned it loose on the mainline. So, from what I can see from the books there really wasn't any standard RF&P caboose in the steam days, either in configuration or finish. It wasn't a big deal when you come down to it, they were only going from Richmond to DC and back so they didn't need fancy, they just needed serviceable. A fun show as always, and I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving!
Fantastic train layout! I love everything about it. The beautiful Berk and B&O Pacific are great models. Thanks so much. The B and O Pacific looks like one of the larger 4-6-4 types. Best regards.
WOW RJ! Looks like you got some great additions to the collection. Love the H3 pulling the wood-sided passenger cars. I also picked up the trolley as I live in North Babylon. Anything associated with Babylon or Long Island always finds its way to my collection!!
You know the saying, "East or West, home's the best!" And it certainly applies to the railroads in whatever part of the country you're from. I'm a sucker for the North Jersey 'roads and proud of it.
Great video RJ. Love the additions to your collection, especially the Berkshire. BTW, I hope that was someone in your family in the window in the 2nd segment and not some random person peeping your layout. Thanks again for another great video update.
@@rj.trains Good luck on the RF&P passenger cars RJ! Man, those things disappear FAST around here (VA) and never see the light of day again for years. If I can find some used and inexpensive passenger cars of any 'road I'm going to make my own RF&P cars. I've already done so with the Susquehanna and NYO&W.
Thanks for the update, RJ. Those are some awesome addition you've made to the collection. I'm particularly impressed with the RF&P Berkshire because of its great detail! Superb! All of these additions are great looking. I hope you've had a great National Thanksgiving holiday weekend and can't wait to see what you have planned for Christmas.
Very nice. It's hard to get those 21" cars to look good on a smaller layout, but they work quite well on yours. Those steam locomotives are quite impressive. Even though I'm a post-war/MPC conventional operator, I appreciate scale and detail of those engines. Keep up the great videos.
It is great for a layout on the floor, if you're building a small layout it's alright, anything bigger than my layout, you have to make sure it is wired perfectly and it can be tedious. It good that it is widely available but I will not be using it on future layouts.
RJ,....you have the best taste in selecting the finest pieces....oh man ..what a collection you have...so valuable
Thank you!
PENN CENTRAL BABY! Love all the new additions! Great camera shots too!
Thanks so much!

Awesome video, RJ! That RF&P Berk is beautiful. I’ve always liked the RF&P steam. Great additions.
The shot framed thru the cornfield was pretty cool.
Thank you!

Great new additions man! The RF&P Berk is a fine model indeed, glad you finally have one.

Like that premier Berk. I have the Railking RF&P version I run with 6 streamlined matte silver passernger cars, nice too.
I need some RF&P passenger cars, it is next on my list of custom projects to do.

If you have the D&H passenger cars, there's only one thing missing. And that's an Alco PA to go with them.
Don't worry, I have one on order ;)
@rj.trains Yay. I live on the former D&H Suesqhanna division. So, the D&H is my favorite railroad
Thank you
I like that GEEP in PC paint!!
Me too it looks great!

Big steam and big east
Doesn't get better than that
Cool 😊
Thanks!
The hoho union approves of this video, and will be setting up a hobo camp at a layout near you...❤❤❤😊😊😊
I'm glad to get union approval, wouldn't want a strike on my railroad.
Hey RJ, can one of those MTH Big Boys that runs on 0 31 curves run on a CW-80?
Yes
Thanks@@rj.trains
What do you think of the fast tracks
