Thanks for another great video. Love the GG1. My grandfather worked in the pattern and model shop of Baldwin Locomotive in the 1930s, and I have framed two models of the GG1 he built for Baldwin’s presentation to the PRR - with two different wheel arrangements. The better looking one won.
I have the 2332. I replaced the roller pickups, brushes and cleaned out the old grease from the gears hoping it would go a bit faster. It didn't, one motor is underpowered but it's such a unique design it's definitely worth having. Also, the horn stopped working when I reassembled it.

I never tried to see how fast mine would go ,but I have a twin moter version also .
And that one is pretty fast .
Another great video . I have the Pennsylvania 2332,New Haven 2350 and the 520 .I've always wondered if anyone built a layout with overhead wiring ?
