- What a great explore this one was so much old stuff left behind, it even had an old Datsun in the garage, this has to be one of my best explores in a long time. If you were wondering why the cops showed up, they were actually looking for a missing person and heard us inside.

You are most probably the only people who are keeping the memory of the people who lived in this house alive.😊
What a shame to see such a fabulous house decaying away - would be an amazing restoration project to return it to the beautiful home it once was
This is where my Mother worked in service 1930s I also installed the community alarm in here for the residents Elisabeth was a very nice person she worked in nursing
Love your videos, no annoying 7 minute intros, no loud background elevator music (for why?!), and no commentary on the pretend story of people who lived there. You guys rock. Cool videos!
I was about to write something similar but you’ve nailed my sentiments already! Cheers!
A cannae wait tae see this alec just making a wee cup of tea first.👍❤🏴🏴🏴🏴
Awesome explore Alec. Such a beautiful house full of lovely stuff. Those are fur stoles, I’m sure. The ladies would wrap them round their shoulders. Well done and I love the photos and drone footage. Thanks .
At 28.17 it is an embroidery frame. It stretches the material, making it easier to embroider, or cross stitch. Great video. The owners must have been quite well to do, at one time.
Great vid and explore.. a sadness for all those belongings of people.. makes you wonder how its left like that.. Thanks for yr respectful filming..👍
The thing in the cupboard you thought was possibly a lamp was an old soda syphon, you would take to the shop to get refilled, and the frame was for stretching tapestry cloth to make it easier to to do your tapestry's on. Such a shame to see a house just left to rot as in a beautiful place. Thanks again for another great explore..
I love that there are comments like yours to explain these items, thank you 🙏
@@magesalmanac6424 Your welcome Its handy being old for once lol ;-)
I was going to explain what those objects were but you beat me to it!, lol😁🤣✌
Todo muy hermoso pero no pusieron atención a los bombones que están en el piano muy hermosos, que época aquella
A los bombines,osea los sombreros
Thank you Al, for showing us,a good look around enjoyed that 🥰
This house is 5 mins from me, always wanted to see inside, growing up my parents told me there was a piano up stairs, never believed them until now. Thanks for the video.
Five minutes away and you've never explored this place? Better go do it while the place is still standing.
@@francoamerican4632 its not standing anymore, kids torched the place about a month ago ☹️
@@chriswalker5582 really ? There’s lots of family memories there irreplaceable photos etc 😮
A very cool explore, and now I see where the baby grand came from. It was odd, that you could actually see how the old resident or resident's health declined as they eventually quit going into, and using parts of the house. The further up and away from the kitchen, the worse the condition of the house got. It's a good thing y'all had your respirators, especially with all of that white and black mold everywhere. It's also a good thing y'all weren't missing, lol hahahaha 😂🤣😂🤣!! What a shame that old Datsun was left to rot, especially with such low mileage, those were great dependable, efficient cars in their day and even today.
That explore was jam packed, good stuff chaps. Loving the jokes on this one!. The Datsun 120Y is worth quite a bit of money now , looks saveable. Last on the road in March 1990, local registration mark and looks to maybe be one owner.
Je deplore fermement la désinvolture avec laquelle cette maison a été vandalisé c est une désolation je suis colère bonjour de Bordeaux france
This house 🏠 belonged to the Robertsons - James (died 2016) and Elizabeth (died 2022). Elizabeth's funeral was in May.
It really needs to be secured. Only hoping that someone was checking regularly on Elizabeth before she apparently wound up in a care home.
The house was once a house for people in service, which explains the bells to ring for servants to attend.
Sad how much of a state a place can get into. 😪
Well thank you for your information sad as always for them concerd
Was there no family, were there no friends to help the poor old folks dispose of their assets and secure the home? So sad to see wedding photos, greeting cards, even coins left behind. Tragic that someone should be so alone at the end of life.
Hello as a distant relative who had met the woman who lived here and sat in her home with her my grandmother regularly visited with shopping so did the farmer who rented her land
@@katierobertson9245 Glad she had visitors.
@@viviennejohnston1046 she was a lovely woman.
Some old people are so protective to even a tea caddy that was from 1945 then some young hooligans get into there home and totally trash it so sad really thanks Alex for showing your respect as you always do
Lovely to hear our accents, never thought I was patriotic but, these guys are part of the tribe of Scots, same west coastal dialect as I.
Great explore Alec &Friends.Thank you.
That was a excellent explore. And just for interest. That wooden bell set on wall near stairs would have been from a very early fitted gpo telephone around 1920-30's . And quite possible a brass or bakerlite candle stick telephone instrument. Long gone now. But the bells servived .as screwed to wall. very well done youtube video indeed.
There must be a lot of bad people there to trash another's home like that
to disgrace their memory
and their life's struggles .
Agree totally
I'm surprised it had no kitchen, but I have a sneaking suspicion it was behind that arched doorway in one of the rooms. Thank you for the video Alec!
Is just me or does that tv in the living room look like it was put there a couple of months ago .?
It is a Needle point frame for the ladies to work by the fire in the evening a very nice one! The wooden screws were turned to tighten the tension
I absolutely *loved* that cracking house 💕👍
I could spend weeks in there raking through all that stuff, those doorbells were amazing, so much really old stuff and a fire in the bathroom, that was so cool 😎
What a beautiful house that was in its day, so many rooms, lovely fireplaces and those fox furs and coats etc makes me think this was a very well off family.
Brilliant explore Alec, loved every minute, *so* much to see, cheers 🍻 👏 🙂
I think the frame on that tapestry was just to keep it taut while it was being made so it's easier to work on.
Wow! This was an epic explore. That house is full of good stuff. Alot of it worth good money. I love you and your brothers relationship ❤ y'all are so adorable and hilarious 😂 be safe 🙏 ❤
Very interesting and thought provoking. Drone makes it extra special.Thank you ⭐️
Surprised the coppers didn't run you off or book you for something. So many valuable antiques and family momentos left behind. Shame on the descendants for the disrespect.
You're such a "serious" urbexer that it feels so anticipatory! Thank you! 🌻🇺🇦🌻🇺🇦🌻🇺🇦🌻🇺🇦🌻🇺🇦🌻
I remember when a driving lesson was a pound back in the 70s alec.👍❤🏴🏴🏴
Been in there it's all burned and really broken up now 💔
It's such a shame that the house is left & people have been in and trashed it, the elderly person who lived there must of had mobility problems, as there is a " perching stool " in the sitting/ dinning room.
The staircase is so beautiful
This is what our stuff we are so jealous and greedy with ultimately becomes, someone else's or chucked in a dump. All that matters is the spirt by which we live. Peace x guaranteed the old person doesn't are about this anymore anyway, this is why I'm not materialistic and only care about love.
What I would like to know how on earth did they get a grand piano upstairs.I own one and it took six men to bring in the front door.😂😂😂
Yeh the pianos on my foot..brooke bond tea ad comes too mind.. lol... I'll get me coat...
Watched it all now. I kept wanting to give it a good clear out and renovate it. Obviously a very nice house at one point. If someone, somewhere owns it, they ought to either board it up securely or get it cleared out before vandals, burglars etc get in.
That concrete render killed a lot of these houses, structure can’t breath, damp kills everything.
Why has abandoned house got nice new pink wheelie bins our bucket lorry swallowed ours and were still waiting for a replacement great content again
Beautiful antiques left behind
👍🏘️ someone's life and memories sadly gone.
It looks like someone has already been in the farm house before you got there alec with all that stuff lying around everywhere and also vandalised some things no respect.good vid tho alec i enjoyed it.👍❤❤❤🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
Thanks fot another excellent explore Alec.. a shame this place is going to waste & wont be long till the vandals move in .
28:30
It's absolutely for tension. You're right. Looks like something for cross stich.
Stuff drying on a radiator. Looks like someone left in a hurry.
The fireplace in the bathroom was probably because it was originally a bedroom, n it's had a bath ,sink n stuff put in later!, as these old houses probably originally had a tin bath n kamodes or chamber pots,n maybe an outside toilet!, My father n his siblings grew up in a similar property!..
Great explore guys, especially the Rossers at the end!, lmao!😁🤣✌
Think these houses all have a story to tell people's secrets and how they lived there posetions .
It’s a shame when these places are left with everything still in them it tells a story about the place so sad 😞
Well the authorities see the situation they just drag anyone into a care home & unfortunately just end your days there
What an absolutely brilliant video! I only just now found your channel. The respect you have for these things is something to be proud of! Shame on Stephanie 👍 My Dr has a 1974 Datsun 120Y. Cool car! He told me it's been around the world with him. (He's from England) Was the newspaper one of you picked up and filmed to see the date, from February 1958? I was born that month.
At 48:03, there's a dinner plate on the floor below the open door of the dryer/washing machine. I have one exactly the same. I bought it at a second-hand shop in Queensland. Incredible!
Thanks for watching
Incredable journey To
Old Scotish Farm House Good Job Done U Guys. From Pakistan Rawalpindi At 0903 PM 7/6/2022.
The wooden thing with the flower picture attached is tapestry a women’s or some men’s form of art work
An awesome explore I love these old houses and you guys do a great job at narrating them. The item that you thought might be for a painting that was actually a loom that you would put a piece of cloth in it roll it up tight and you could do needlepoint on it or quilting.
It's a tapestry frame. Its Adjustable to stretch the cloth over.
That's so sad how it's just left to rot surely if there was family they could clear it out and sell it or if no family then those who are dealing with his will / estate .again another great find 😁
Alec I can see some very nice stuff like pine chest if draws Crystal they were very well to do.
I think they might have been a professional couple maybe nurse Doctor.
6:30 like the washbasin, has a weir overflow like a Belfast sink. The grate is hinged along with the plug chain hoop. 6:50 (paused it): can see a 'taft' joint in the waste pipe. when using lead pipe this is quicker than performing a 'rolled' wiped joint these still use a wooden turnpin; moleskin cloth; solder. etc.. waste outlet (plughole) has a brass nut & liner which is 'tinned' prior, connected to it-soldered to the Lead P'trap. 19:38 That looks like a siphonic toilet. The turquoise bath and basin look about 1950/60's
Hi alec, thanks for another explore.,you are the best explore ,on you tube. i do watch other channel,s .love the funny comments you guys say. had me laughing.
Thanks its appreciated
Great episode. The best part was when you said, “For fox sake!” Very funny. Then to see two more hanging of the picture- kinda creepy. The Police were chill & we are glad you and your fellow explorers did not get into any trouble. Love the channel. Your Biggest Fabs in Houston, Texas🤠🇺🇸
Stay Well, Stay Safe, & as always- we can’t wait for you to share your next exploring adventure with us!
Thank you its appreciated
Love the way you do an explore Alec. No faffin aboot. This was a nice find and interesting things to see, apart from the vandalism, , l know you guys dont like it either. Your intruders seemed decent 😉 Thanks as always, take care Alioban X
No faffin about, never knew how it was spelt. In Ireland we say no effin about. After looking up both your version is more politically correct, ours is the short for f******. Amazing what you can pick up on TH-cam.
@@philipmcdonagh1094 lol!😁🤣✌
Amazing stuff. Great film
Watching your videos from Israel and love them
Amazing properties and so very sad they are derelict and not inhabited
Alec that’s cat litter.
The box you opened is a blanket/candle box.
That’s a tapestry screen
great find alec, i know some houses have fireplaces in the bedroom but a fireplace in the bathroom omg, oh and that doorbell you found upstaris it could have been installed upstairs on the landing as it is such a big house the people may not have heard the doorbell downstairs if someone called if they where upstairs just a guess
Love your vids, I’m always wondering when I see an object when was the last time that was used, did they know it was the last time, these abandoned houses could be ours many years ahead .. you never know
Sad to see this place in such bad condition I bet it use to be beautiful
Alec Dave would have loved to see this Datsun 120.He’s car mad.😂
Yeah i know if he moves his ass up here ill take him lol
Interesting! Was it vandalized by humans or raccoons I wonder. Nice job filming, thanks!
This house went on fire not long after this and the car disappeared!
LOL if rub this will a genie come out ,i was thinking the same when i heard you say it lol thanks Alec love your videos
Fascinating to watch but also tragic. Was there nobody who cared enough about this person to check on them from time to time?
My family was distant relatives my grandmother visited brought her food and took her out for lunch
The item you ask your friend what was it it’s a tapestry loom
27:06 that slide appears to be a picture of a Maori house somewhere in New Zealand , Rotorua maybe ?
I like how there is no telling us what we can already see with our own eyes, but would like to know the extent of the land with the property
Hey Alec. Lovely old house. So annoying it's been trashed. Jerk vandals. I'll take the sewing machines. So much left behind. A true time capsule here. A really nice staircase too. Got a bit nervous about the police being there. I hope they find that missing person. Cheers Alec for another fantastic explore. 👏
Do you ever research to determine who the families were who owned the property and if it’s still owned by relatives? Also, we are most impressed by your disgust at how people trash places for no reason! Shameful. Keep Exploring!
It had a kitchen but was so nasty and cluttered I don’t know how anyone could use it
This is so sad but I’d buy that house
Luv the pink floor lamp
After Elizabeth passed, did no one in the family secure the home? If not is it for sale?
Think it is beyond selling. Will probably need a bulldozer. Sadly.
I built an addition to my house and before they poured the floor, I buried a full-sized skeleton. I figured in about 100 years the house will be torn down and the skeleton unearthed. There is nothing as funny as punking people in the future.
😢pienso que desaparecen a las personas o mueren sin quien reclame nada. Está todo muy raro y misterioso 🤔
Breaking & Entering!! That’s someone property on someone’s land.
Gee whiz, the folk must have left in an affa hurry, they've left their socks on the radiator!!
Aw the police aw naw. Watch your bits getting out of there wouldn’t want a ball getting lost haha
That cramer baby grand piano is worth about £5000 i googled it alec👍❤🏴🏴🏴
...all I could think was a) how marvelous to be out in the fields and hear its melody and b) HOW DID THEY GET IT IN That UPSTAIRS Room!
Love your videos
Top hats old 1700
I like to find out when the house was built. When the last owners moved in and out. What happened to the people
Looks like the owner died.
ANOTHER COOL TIME CAPSULE THERE BRUDDA 👌 THAT WOULD BE EMBROIDERY WITH THE FRAME AND PATTERN , TELL ME YOU DID PICS WITH THE TOP HATS THAT'D BE FUNNY , GOTTA CHECK THE DATES ON FOOD STUFFS AND LOOK FOR OLD GRAFFITI, CHECK OUT THE MAKERS OF THE DISHES AND THE OLD LOGOS ON THE REALLY OLD STUFF , JUST IDEAS BROTHER GREAT STUFF AL👌👌
Nice to see the place , personally prefer more info. The detail adds to the viewing experience
hi Love your videos . Thank you!😁😊😉😀🎥
Good evening my lovely YT friend!😀
Excelente trabalho para a equipe, interessante saber que os mais deficientes em recursos financeiros e também os mais ricos, terminem a existência de propriedade da mesma forma.
Obrigado
I've sold 1 of them old akai 1700 worth a few quid m8. But ano you don't take anything lol. Would love to tag along some time I'm from Glasgow myself m8 👍🏼😎

This is very unfortunate, unnerving & depressing.

That’s a very rare car I wonder what the story is , sad to see great find guys
Even more breaking and entering. Leaving it ripe for stripping by pykies.
