As a sprout main, I would add that when the ball explodes just before hitting a wall, it can attacks through the walls. It is extremely useful, especially coupled with the first star power, despite being incredibly difficult to aim purposefully. I can be used to kill someone hidden behind a wall from a long range.
@@ShiuMings I am referring to something different. In your wall peaking you throw the ball right next to a wall. In my case you shot the ball in front of a wall, but from a long range, in order to make the ball explode right before hitting a wall, which means the area of damages spans through the walls
0:27 Erm, actually🤓☝Due to the physics of the arc it is being thrown at, it technically goes the exact same distance in the exact same time due to it not just going forward but also going up to the same height once reaching the center of the arc.
12:22 good luck blocking Cordelius super with a wall, when it literally goes through it. But since Sprout walls also appear in shadow realm (which another tactic, that if your teammate taken by Cordelius and most likely gonna lose, you can place a wall on opposite side which they walking in)
As a Sprout main, I would add that you can counter Kit super in the same way you do "projectile dodging". You super under yourself when Kit jumps, forcing on you. You get knockbacked, but can move after while Kit is still stunned from his super. Using that you can easily kill Kit using your hypercharge damage buff and spamming 3 autos :3
That's a valid way to counter Kit but it's pretty unlikely to happen because it's pretty hard to do , Kit is a sneaky brawler and it's also unlikely you will have a hyper by the time Kit jumps on you
Another thing i do is to place the hypercharged wall, and use gadget. Some kits are stupid and jumps anyways... suffering 2.5k dmg x second and i love to counter them like that.
20:41 Sure you can take the first super but you can place the second one exactly onto the saafe and it then deals 2500+2000 hp per second during 10 seconds, hence; 45000 hp. The percentage depends on the average levels of both teams.
5:30 this special rule is side-dependant. Indeed, in this case, this extra wall time doesn't spawn if the map is reversed. You can know what side the map is by looking at your spawn placement.
As a sprout main, I can say that his huge advantage is very short time interval between attacks (I think it's same as edgar). It means that you can give a heart attack to piper or rico by jumping out of the bushes with hitting all 3 shots. Yes, it requires skill, but it's very fun. Also, Hardlane (Knockout) is one of the coolest maps on sprout. If you have to win 1v1 and you're in the mid, all you have to do is to put walls in right place and BOOM. Easy win. I remeber putting 4 walls in one place so bibi in other team died to poison🤣 P.S Sprout is cute
There’s some extremely niche tech with getting a main attack shot extension by placing a super then attacking a split second after into where your super is landing. Have done this 3-4 times intentionally in game to secure a kill on someone not expecting a 13 tile sprout shot so definitely think it’s worth mentioning. Wall push priority is also pretty important, where a wall on top of you will first push left, then up then right then down
For the Hypercharge Heist safe strategy, you can throw your super directly on the safe and as long as you're spamming your Transplant gadget, you don't need an available piece of your hedge to take it back and you can throw 2 full supers on the safe. In my experience in game this trick is 100% consistent. Though I just tried it in a friendly match against a bot and it doesn't work at all which suggest it's probably a ping related thing. If you can, try it for yourself if you haven't already to see if it works.
It is actually possible to make a 1-tile gap while placing sprout walls. It happens while being in the 5th configuration, but when there is only 1 regular wall (here, it would be the right black wall) instead of a line. There is an example at 8:44. It is mostly used for sprout trickshots.
Very hard but somehow simple trick, place super at max aiming range, then shoot as super lands and it should randomly bounce "in" the wall and then fly out for like 4 tiles in the direction you shot. That paired with the bouncing distance afterwards makes you reach the top of ranges in Brawl I think
This can be done consistently without a max range super by shooting super closer then firing the projectile at the left or right side of where the wall will spawn
I didn't even suspected that this lil' plant boy's mechanics could be so complicated. By the way, i don't know for sure if that's the biggest wall, but i often see some large walls at "Hard Rock Mine" map for gem grab

There's a mechanic where you could have an attack bouncing within a hedge wall, I still need to experiment more with it, but it could accelerate an attack if timed right. (Might not be viable in competitive)
There is an obscure tech i discovered but is almost impossible to apply at an match You are able to lock bouncy projectiles with your super by throwing it on top of the projectile, like ricos, bibi's bubble, that you can deny if landed correctly And most importantly, sprouts own projectile, because it explodes, so you can make an diy sprout hc super, because the duration of the projectile is extended heavily, making it risky to be close to the wall And, with an extreme especific super set and timing, i did not understood how that could work other ways In short you can propel sprouts projectile by dropping an ult in a certain wall layout, making it bounce many times and gaining momentum when it gets the opportunity to leave the wall
