He gets the 400 mill if he wins or loses so he really doesn't care... but if an MMA guy tarnishes his 49-0 record that's a big stain in your legacy, if you beat him well that's just what was expected, your legacy won't even feel it. That's why Skip said it and it's 100% correct, Mayweather has literally nothing to win legacy-wise from this fight. So I'll agree with Skip when he says Floyd has the most pressure, however, I believe Mayweather will wipe the floor with Conor McGregor. McGregor has nothing to lose because he stepped outside of his element (MMA) and he gets 100 mill (which is about 3-4 times his net worth) even if he loses, so he literally has nothing to lose.

Completely agree with you, but should Conor win, he'll be remembered in history for being the one who broke Floyd's streak when it should've been impossible for him to even come close. Not a fan of Floyd whatsoever, but he has so much experience in defence and counter-punching and boxing, I think ALL of that will count this time. He needs to put on a show, sure, but shouldn't ever take Conor lightly. No messing around.
I think Conor might well need to win more than he thinks... £100mil, sure, but Conor's jumped ship from UFC for 1 fight when there are UFC Lightweight competitors waiting for a shot at a title he'll probably never defend and claim to be the best. I don't know. Conor's entertaining and a great fighter, so I can't wait for the build-up and trash-talking from him. But if he loses, despite $100mil, his popularity might well start to fizzle out. Unlike, say, Anderson Silva who was an undefeated champion for almost 6 years, Conor can't really claim to be the king of UFC. Conor made history in UFC holding 2 titles, but could well be remembered just for jumping ahead of the queue of #1 ightweight contenders because of star-power and NEVER defending either of the UFC titles once, and then going on (maybe) to losing easily to Mayweather, in spite of pocketing $100mil.

Mc Laren While Conor has many TKO's/Ref Stoppages, he only has a handful of actual knockouts. But MMA stand-up is not not very comparable to Boxing. And it is maybe the best defensive boxer of all time. But I'm calling it for what it is...a paycheck for both fighters.

Either way if it did happen, Floyd probably careless because all he would say, I still got paid win or lose!. Now for Conor, I don't care what he has done in an Octagon and if he basically boxes his fights in UFC. Well this is a boxing ring there will be no "basically" in this fight. Conor also has a higher chance of losing because he is the emotional one in this fight. Floyd getting paid and Conor wants to beat up Floyd, unless that was just a ploy because he knew he would get paid for getting a fight with Floyd. No matter what fairy tale you believe, Conor has the upper hill to climb in this fight and we all know Floyd is defensive and Conor will probably get emotional during that time and probably do something stupid!

Da Thomas yea the chances of that are incredibly unlikely or even impossible. Mcgregor is trained in fighting and wouldnt just charge, theres nothing mayweather can do that would surprise a fighter. But mayweather, hes never felt a leg kick or head kick. Never defended a takedown. Also....mayweather isnt exactly a knockout artist. The last person he ko'ed stiff was in 1999. Mcgregor charging him....thats not exactly what trained fighters do. Just like when the Gracies fought other stand up martial artists that didnt understand grappling. They didnt stand a chance in a fight with no rules, a street fight.

All the pressure is without a doubt on Mayweather. Primarily because it's a boxing match. If (49-0) Mayweather loses against an MMA fighter in boxing, people will forever bring up McGregor when they talk about him. If Conor loses, anybody can say that he's an MMA fighter and not a boxer. Sure the people who love Floyd can say that's he's 40 years old and what not but at the end of the day, a loss for Floyd would taint his image way more than a loss for Conor. So yes, pressure's definitely on Mayweather much more than McGregor. Shannon is wrong, and though it's not all that common, Skip is actually right here.

Much to the contrast the 10 oz gloves offer the opportunity to throw harder punches and not break a hand or wrist. A bare knuckle punch may break ones hand so mentally one pulls back a little. With protected hands one can let the punches go with vigorous and bad intentions.
