Wonderful presentation. I like how Bjarke, and BIG, as a whole, maximize their architecture in the most brilliant way despite all of the restrictions and parameters. It is almost like squeezing water from a stone, they achieve the best kind of architecture through digging and squeezing deep enough into the details.

His projects are amazing but if you have seen more of his presentations, he repeats the same ideas over and over again.. I think it would be a lot better if he focused on some projects and not all of them

this is mass marketing. he always repeats the same sentences, on and on. He is never in his office doing his job. How can he be so requested to introduce every week his personal projects? He was the most interesting of his generation. now he is the most boring. there are much more talented architects that don't show off every two days on youtube

He is a very clean person, funny, educated, for sure but he isn't the only one on the panorama and the press, specially American press is pushing him a lot.
I wish i answered in a way that will give you satisfaction.

Perhaps promotion is not part of the plan or job, or even a desire, for the other architects you mention. I agree that press should seek out talent, but we only see and hear those who make the effort to communicate. What sets him apart is his relative youth; until now films have only been made about senior architects. I see him more as a teacher.

@@olivermcerlean8386 i think you have a strong point of view, since the beginning to the end.
For the most i like his work, if you can say 'his' in the moment he has 500 employees between Copenhagen and NYC. Soon others in London.
The originality of his ideas about housing, in Europe, are rare.
There are two things i really can't stand of his architecture. The first is the useless and exaggerate use of the reinforced concrete in areas where you can use x-lam. This action creates a contradiction between his so commercialized idea of sustainability and the giant carbon foot print they produce, every single time.
Second, the fact that his firm has a ton of contracts, everywhere, especially in the US, to build concrete monsters with the abused idea of making them green. Those buildings are designed for the upper class, they are not very interesting in their inside part as they are on their exterior.
He must be confused or, simpler, he is the new Zaha Hadid.
Function just follows the shape. It would justify the title of his first book "less is bore".
