I missssed you guys!!!! My Sundays have not been the same! I think a lot of people are feeling the same way you are including me. I was recently laid off and that put me in a dark place but thankfully I’m coming out of that now. I hope you feel lighter and more yourself in the coming days and months 😊

Please don’t worry about how you ‘show up’ in these vlogs. If I had to record myself every week, you would get happy me, excited me, grumpy me, angry me, tired me, pissed off me, fed up wirh everything and everyone me …! We are all human, we are all figuring this life out, it’s a constant journey and honestly, it’s lovely to see that reflected in the media we consume. Sending big London love ❤️
I really appreciate you opening up. That's what makes us all feel less alone. So thank you for doing that. Also, I can relate to a lot of it, and it's a Scorpio thing, that tendency to overthink, be emotional, and travel into the dark places in the mind. omg i genuinely thought it was JUST ME when i was going thru that period of time with my little one!! (he’s 2.5 now). that time was such a DARK place for me and i had no idea why but this totally comforts me knowing that it wasn’t just me all along.

Hi Shenae - never apologise for your feelings and emotions. Life is hard even when we are blessed in so many ways. Parenting isn't easy but it makes the good times so much more rewarding. Love you both and your content, whatever form it takes.

Wow so happy to see you guys back Sundays were not the same without. Thank you for the heart to heart you shared with us! Personally I love your channel and think it makes it that much more real and relatable when you choose to show it all the good the bad and the ugly, your feelings are so valid, never be ashamed of it or sharing it with us, we thank you for it as a lit of us might be going through similar situations. You sound wise and very in touch with your feelings and the way you express yourself if very beautiful. I too feel lost being a new mum navigating what it means and who I am or have to become now vs who I was. Already dreading hom growing up i think i will undoubtedly feel as you are now. But we love our babies to the end of the world and back and we will all find this new dimension and grow together with them, i am sure of it. Sending all the loving to the family. Ps I'm so proud my country gave us all Maneskin lol

You articulated the road to self-discovery as a mother so well and what I find interesting is that it can happen with every child one has and that it's an ever-evolving journey. Can be very uncomfortable but what i also find interesting is that it can be so rewarding and satisfying when you get to the other side! I think as mothers we can all relate with your journey. As a new mum to a 4 month old who is trying to figure out what's next for me and what my new identity will be, it's refreshing to see that you (and others) are going through the same thing. If you're happy to share, I would love to see your journey through this stage, as it will help us mums through our own journeys. Also, props to Josh - You brought me in the bed 11 years ago and I'm still there. Hilarious, love it!

I totally get what you are saying. My little is graduating from High School and i going thru that all o er again. I was so busy being a mom and now I am like who am I ? You will go thru that different times. Love the video It’s different stages of kids growing up.

Definitely missed you folks on Sunday but totally understand on needing a break. I definitely experienced the same with my daughter. Weirdly fear it with the plans of future children. I can imagine more so that is challenging when King may be your last. Take the time you need and I'm sure we'll be here. Can't wait to see what is next!

I have felt like that once by my second born who didn't need me as much has he did and trying to find myself was the most hardest thing as I thought I could go back to where I was before kids but hearing you makes me feel like we aren't alone as being Mum is fantastic but trying to find you the real you/me is the part I still struggle with and I've been a mum for 6 years with a 6 and 4 yr old

you said it.... right when you started telling us about how you felt right from the start of the year....I think most of us are feeling the same way ....coming out of an almost three year pandemic, that brought so much anger all over the world , and a lot of women are feeling a loss of self and self control...we feel like we don't have control of our selves , because the powers that be are trying to silence women, take away the rights we fought to have....it's a dark time for women....but never , ever , feel like you have to put on a happy face or mask how you're feeling.....speaking your truth can only make you feel better and may also make someone else feel better....stay strong....we're right here with you

I started watching your pregnancy videos with Bowie then found out I was pregnant soon after and I’ve been watching ever since. I really appreciate your honesty because I can totally relate. Also I think being genuine is something you’ve always done so don’t worry about being down if that’s how you truly feel at times because we all do especially as moms ❤

Please don't be embarrassed about your feelings with us. We mom's have to wear so many hats and I also think we pretend a lot that everything is just fine while underneath we are so down and barely getting by. I am so happy that our feelings are actually starting to be important and we are finally talking about how we really feel. I'm 72 and when I had little ones and was depressed you just didn't talk about any of it. We were whining and didn't know what we were talking about. It's about time women's feelings and mental health are treated as really important because it is. Best of luck to you. You will get through it. I promise. So glad you are back.

My child is speech delayed and if youre struggling with kings words try making him a little photo book it helps alot with communication and easier for them and us! We definitely missed you, i checked often to see if you came back. Just be yourself, we all have struggles and its nice to feel someone else feels it too. ❤

Shenae you need time out. I’ve struggled lately at 41 my kids changing wondering who am I? Will always be mum but what makes me happy beyond the mum life?
I could not vlog. My sister tells me I should as daily there’s a drama involving the kids but a lot is real and funny and relatable BUT that pressure and the time it takes to edit & always be “on” would be too much for me.
You just need to show up for your family. The rest will be there.
